I live in CA, so I can't vote in Illinois, but I am interested in the IL petition. Can you summarize it so we don't have to wade through the PDF file at the link?

desert dude - its not a petition, its a list of all the candidates in IL and what their stance is on medical marijuana. Whatever you do, don't vote for Mark Kirk.
