clones are better, you know theyre female for a start.
if you grow from seed you have the chance they could be male after all your hard work.
clones for me.

Clones are the way to go - if you have access to good ones then they are well worth the $$.
And, Welcome to RIU my friend - may you have much success in your growing endeavors.

:leaf:Are you a begginer to DWC or new to growing weed as a whole???If just new to dwc I would go with clones if a newbie go with seed so you can learn how to decifer a male bettween a female at 8 to 10 weeks old. What kind of set up and lights are you using??

I am kind of new to growing in a whole. I have done alot of reading, so I have a good idea. My set up is a grow tent with a 1000watt sun beam. a starter bin with six holes an air bar, water pump, rockwool, netted pots oh and those clay rocks

Keep in mind that you will need to keep an eye on your ppm's,If using either chem or organic nutes you dont need to keep them as high as the directions say too! I learned this the hard way,DWC isnt like an ebb and flow system.Your roots will be submerged all of the time.Lower your ppm"s to 1/4 stregnth .Also with your air stones.the smaller the bubble the more o2 it has.

I would grow from seed....then you learn about the whole process....germ 5 seeds veg them foor 6 weeks.....take two clones or 3 clones from each...flower them, pull males....worst case scenario: 5 males+15 male clones....second worse 4 males+12 male clones....but that's the downside....upside is if you wind up with 2/3 females you will have a cpl clones of eace....you can keep a couple for mother plants....and the originals, grown from seed are already flowering along. This way your can learn about your genetics, and how the plants grow. It gets you more involved in the process. Plus if you learn this way you will never be without stock or dependant on others for clones...as long as you can order some seeds online.

Good luck
