Im getting alot of mixed messeges, Is soft white the same as warm white?

ok so ive read that soft white cfl are for flowering and so are warm white but then i read that there same and in other places that soft whites suck use warm whites bla bla bla idk so can someone tell me what the spectrum of soft whites are?
 
"Warm" refers to bulb that have a more red or orange cast to them.
I.E. something 2700-3700K

And Yes - That's what you want for flowering
