So here are some pictures i took with my camera. They are the best i can get after 1 hour of going through all the camera's options.
Hope you can help me.

This is my first real harvest and i'm not entirely sure. I've tested a bud last night (microwave dried it) and it was pretty good.
I've read that it doesn't matter if the pistils aren't all orange/red, just the trichomes count. I for one think they are milky, but it might be light flare.
The pictures were taken with/without flash, with/without hps on.
Some more pictures

Definitely not ready yet. You do not want to just look at the trics for ripeness. I do not even bother checking my trics until the majority of the pistols have reddened off and receded into the bud. Also the calyxes should look they are going to explode. You still have a couple weeks to go, maybe more in my opinion.

Doesn't look ready to me...you still have mostly white hairs. I start checking trichs after most all hairs are orange and some have started to recede.

If you know the plant is a sativa will the pistols still turn a dark color????? Thank you. I am right about where he is in his photos as well.

They should still redden off and recede into the bud. Sativa's seem to take forever to finish, but if you let them you will be well rewarded.

I would say 3 weeks to a month easily. She has so much more swelling to do, you will be grateful for letting it go the extra weeks

Yup. You got a long way to go buddy. I lost my phone in Walmart today so I can't upload any pics. But tomorrow I'll post some pics of some that are on the verge of bein done. All those white hairs you see. Wait till they're covered in green and turned red. Then you can start using longer dark periods to ripen the plant a lil faster !!!!
happy gardening!
