I love led
I'm ready to make my own light
I want to go with
vero29s
pico ez mates
kapton tape
and Arctic 11 cpu cooler
I'd like to buy 4 of everything (cpu coolers/cobs) so which driver would be best to run all four cobs? And where to buy.
Also I'm confused ...if I have 4 artic 11s can I wire them together and use one power supply to run all four... ? What power supply should I buy??
I'm decent with electrical like I used to like to hook up car stereo/video but never made a light lol
I guess after I buy all of that I would need some kind of frame for it all .. From Home Depot maybe? What do I buy for that? Wonder if there is any frame I could use that didn't require a drill????
Y'all are gonna have to help me Please!

Ya apv 12-12 has 1amp on it. So find out how much your fans need and go from there. Most are 0.25/0.5 amps.

If you get fans that have thermal sensors attached to them, you can cut those off and wire in a pot. Thats what I did and I can control my fans from all the way off up to full power very easily. In this pic I have one pot for my led power and 1 wired to 2 fans.

Bro maybe delay your final purchases till summer. I read on another thread about a substantially improved v29 due out 6/16. Im planning to swap out the vero29, first gen that ive been running.

"Bridgelux, a leading developer and manufacturer of LED lighting technologies, will debut several new products at this year’s Light + Building in Germany, including its seventh generation of Vero and V Series products now featuring nominal efficacy ranging from 155 to 180 lumens per watt warm white efficacy - See more at: http://www.bridgelux.com/resources/...-lumens-watt-performance#sthash.IvoIy2dG.dpuf"

It's really fun and rewarding to build your own. Plus you can configure it complement your particular space very precisely.
It seems like I can do it a little cheaper than their kits and the ones I saw were sold out
The vero aren't as efficient but in on a budget even if it only saves a little I'm trying to build one for as cheap as possible
