I like him but I cant see hip hop being fun live.. your just around a bunch of wannabee gangster douchebags? I imgine the audience would be a little different since his music must attract to young kids who adopt his point of view, or somewhat intelligent people who also like hip hop..

Explain to me the aspects of hip hop that are enhance when seeing it live?

I do like some rap and hip hop so I'm not hating on the music.

Are you there to see the douche bags or are you there to see immortal teknique?

Why would you go to a pink floyd concert or a hockey game or basket ball, baseball game when its more fun playing it? your a metal fan, why would you want to see metallica in concert or whatever metal band you like?

I am a technohead/raver and I like immortal teknique and would go and see him. I like him for his political views and he is not just another gansta rapper that talks nuthing but shit, so that said, its not goin to be just your average whiggers and wannabe's. I'm not there to see them anyways. I don't like most rap but this guy I like alot.

Ever heard of the term "different strokes for different folks?" or "whatever turns you on?" I think what you said is a little bit stupid/ignorant because the only thing similar between you and the next guy is that your both human other than that your different(even if you have some of the same things in common).

You said you like "some" hiphop, well thats said, hiphop is not your cup of tea even though you only like 1 or 2 tracks. Of course why would you go? Its all personal preference.

You go to Pink floyd Concerts for the visuals coupled with blasting music.
It is music synomous with the psychadelic scene and you can count on feeling like your tripping at a show.

Metal music is all about the pits... people unleashing their energy on each other in an atmosphere that is impossible to get OUTSIDE of a show.. banging their head among countless other metal heads.
Everybody gets to be unprofessional and fucking wild/brutal for a show.

I am not dissing your music, my bet is I have a more impressive /diverse hip hop collection /taste than you do..

Regardless of that I'm ASKING you with some civility why?
What is there at a show whose genre is dominated by young hoodlums?
Immortal technique is a phenomenal talent.. no doubt about it, but I have enough sense to realize that the accusations of propaganda in our government, etc he LOVES to sing about is very hypocritical, because he is doing exactly the same.. I'm sure you eat his preachy political views up, dont you?

It's ALL been said before....and probably said better and more effectively. Lyrics ????? Limericks is more like it.....and not very good ones. Buncha thugs and wannabees. They perpetuate the image but when you call em out on it, or worse yet, don't like the "music" you're a racist or dumb and ignorant. If its such a powerful and provacative genre....with so much to say...and said so well..................why don't they learn from it ???? I'm a little confused by your response? I listen to a lot of music. My favorite is big band/old rock 1920-50s. But Hip-hop in my opinion is certainly the most creative and evocative genre out there in our lifetime.

It seems apparent that you have never heard an Immortal Technique album. it's not gangsta rap. more political rap than anything. pull up a few tracks on you tube.
