Wow, ur even more clueless than i originally thought. first off, ur link is to a metal halide bulb, which are distinctly different from regular incandescent bulbs. and aside from that, the link had no info referencing the spectrum of light that regular incandescent bulbs give off. REALLY, i dont even know why ur trying to prove urself right when ur wrong.

I tell you what, if any of you can grow some bud under some regular ass light bulbs, and I mean, JUST SOME REGULAR ASS LIGHT BULBS, then I'll be impressed.

Otherwise, you're just going against all conventional and accepted wisdom about grow lighting without a shred of proof or evidence.

The burden of proof is on you should you choose to prove us, um, circle jerks wrong there bud nugbong.

if the plant was using the light to grow in the vegative state, it could use the light to grow buds. even if the light spectrum wasnt ideal for flowering, it would still grow buds.

I agree. Fact, the shear number of bulbs needed and the proximity to plant. Anyone ever see the movie Up in Smoke. I want one of you grow gods to produce some bud with incandescents. Then you can call people stupid. Until then, you remain the ones wearing helmets while waiting for the little school bus. I hate summer vacation. This forum turns into romper room.

CLF's run cool ... cheaper ... have the CORRECT spectrum needed and are the answer to most peoples prayers , You say your going to use CLF ... Good Choice .... If you want to test your theory ....now is the time to do it ... and then show the results , Grow one under CLF ..and one under Incan .... and update the progress of both .... including temps ... light distence from plants .... and enargy bills

first of all you guys gotta explain to me what OP means...and second i came into this convo trying to calmly explain to the kid how much better cfls are than incans. when i saw the other guys saying it couldnt happen and it wouldnt even grow a thing i tried to explain to both sides...I KNOW INCANS ARE A BAD IDEA but i was trying to explain that it could grow plant life, when i heard "they will grow for a few days and then die" i tried to explain why that was wrong with that statement.

then things spiraled out of control and i blacked out haha, i hope nobody has any hard feelings. and i think we all learned a lesson? probly not tho

im still buggin about how this guy knew i love baked beans...
