Inda-gro Induction...

Hiya HY. I agree that is more than I would have run but he had 4 1000 watt HPS in there before and he was getting killed with the heat. With 6 of the 420-pontoons he's cut temps by more than 1/2 and his lower branch development canopy penetration is exceptional. This set up is matching the previous HPS weights and the product has improved.

BTW if you win that partycup I hear IG is going to make you a dealer since you have so much of their shit already!

1 degree in Regina this am. I seriously don't know how these folks do it. It's beyond cold. Only 3 more days of this and color me gone!

6 to 4 1000's makes sense. 3 = 2 1000's. That's alot of 1000's for that space too.

I wouldn't mind being a dealer. One of my buddies wants to buy some in Feb. Not sure how many. I told Darryl about that the last time we spoke. I have another friend who runs 10 1000's. He keeps asking me questions about them. So maybe he will want some too. He's kind of a hater. Winning the cup as of now is a long shot. Puff, green Santa, dawg, psuagro, the Riu Vets all have great lighting and some pretty good grower skills and good strains. I did pull 4th last comp. There's twice as many people in this one. Some newbs though.

you know my hood. There's alot of Canadians. When it dropped to the 30's last month. I seen some of them canucks walking around in shorts and flip flops. I was layered up and still cold. The seat warmers in the car helped then.

Not to worry Hy. If you don't win the partycup I got you pegged for first place prize on the most weight per 420-Pontoon combo. Rumor has it that the prize will not the be R8 but I'm still working on it.

There is three in there. Would be bad ass if only one, but beyond my skill set. Hmmm...maybe the solo cup grow off ;-)
I've heard the pink pheno is the one you want. I wouldn't know. I heard its not very potent then I heard the opposite.. I know one person who got a huge yield with plushberry. I never got a chance to smoke any. with any tga or bodhi gear/. The colors will make the plant sexy and have great chance in winning the cup. Especially if you have a pink pheno.

I don't grow for cups or for yield, just trying to find something my wife likes. If she doesn't like it, it doesn't get grown. With that said, I still try to get the most out her (the plant), with all that I learn here. I started making bubble and that seems to be what is smoked the most, so the frostier the better. Queesequakes that I had didn't make the cut and the plushberry may go if the 9 lb hammers that I picked up yesterday deliver. She loved the timewreck, but I didn't know how to clone when I grew them out. Have some more of those seeds also. Jillybean in veg and Pennywise in the solo cups right now. Im not stuck on TGA, but they have been easy to grow. Ill just keep popping beans until momma says different.

The induction lights from China are way more inexpensive than indagro. They purchase them out of china according to some videos I have seen. Does anyone have any experience with induction lights from china?Screen shot 2014-01-25 at 12.51.44 AM.jpg

Induction lights direct out of China can be bought for less than an IG but the quality between manufacturers will vary widely. Even a high end mfg like Riant who actually spent the time to research phosphors that are PAR responsive have issues if they don't honor their warranties. After having run Riant (China Direct) for less than a year this was Scar's last post re his experience with Riant:

I was wrong about Riant induction light.
3 ballast failures in 10 mo. now they won't answer my emails to warrenty it.
450$ niece of junk now. Dont ever buy Riant lights folks......
Fortunately Scar's experience with Riant did not sour his opinion of induction grow lights (as I've seen happen with cheaply made Chinese direct LED panels and poor results are blamed on the technology) and now he's running the Pro-420-Pontoons. If his autohaze updates are any indication the phosphors used in the IG are outperforming the Riant and if there ever is a problem with an IG driver it means dealing with a US company that supports their product warranties over here and does not rely on China to issue them a credit which in Scar's case never happened as he became too troublesome so they just chose to ignore him. IG may not make the best induction grow light out there but they never stop innovating and as growers they look for anything that will continue to improve the gardening experience.

Does anyone have any experience with induction lights from china?
I would like to see more induction lamp mfg's bring their products to market by putting them in gardens and doing side by sides. The difference of a few hundred bucks is not going to be what sways an informed grower to buy one product over the other. It's going to be seeing results that can outperform other technologies and that bring a real value into their garden. If you are not doing that you're never going to get the attention of the serious grower.

Fuck china direct for Induction.
Fuck Riant induction lighting

No QA/QC.
when it dies you ship to china an wait.
Then it shows an dies again.
you return for 40$ , and wait another 2 mo.
then it arrives again an lasts a week.
this time they won't respond to emails for warrenty.
460$ an 6-7 mo wasted.

I tried it on a gamble an lost.
It did get me hooked on induction lamps.
but I got fucked in the ass for 460$ an months without weed.
(just like Chaz said would happen lol)

Indagrow will warrenty an does quality assurance before sending.
Go inda grow you'll thank me later man.

Off subject a bit here folks but what do you all think of the more expensive carbon filters compared to the cheaper ones. Are they worth double the price? I am talking about Phresh and Can filters compared to the cheaper ones.

Posting pictures later update of my garden with the 420. This light really kicks azz!

Presh filters are good. Growers house has good deals on them. They have a test video for phresh filters on their site. They test all kinds of grow products. Make videos for them

I literally just bought a brand new phesh filter on saturday. My old one was off ebay and was super cheap. It did ok for my tent and when I was in a house of fellow herb smoking roommates. But in my new room and living with the lady...it wasn't cutting. So I bought the phresh because I could finally afford one and smell is something worth controlling for me now.

Seriously a big difference. Not a bit of smell anymore...even she said so. And phesh are supposed to last the longest. So far I'm really impressed and feeling good about the money spent.
