Indica-dom hybrids: Max yield outdoors?

Hey fellas,

I got a real nice female plant in veg right now. It's a Lock Stock from DNA genetics. According to DNA genetics, this plant is a mostly-indica hybrid that produces very large yields (i assume indoors) of sticky stony buds, but it's more notable for yield than potency. If I put a hybrid like that outside and took great care of it, would it have the potential to be a monster plant? I mean if I'm gonna risk this large plant, way overdue for indoor flowering already, by subjecting it to the elements in New England, I would hope it could yield like a pound or so outside. Can any plant be a monster outside given the right care or do you need very specific strains? I know how to care for the plant for max yield, just not sure if a hybrid like this has the pounder potential. Thanks for any thoughts!
