Indoor CFL Grow 1x Akorn Snowbud 1x Lemon Kush 1x Not a clue.

Get some 68w (300w equivalent) 2700k cfl. Home depot for $17ea. I'm thinking about toping the 4 to make 8. Or fim and get 16. Either way were talkjng baby arms.
Yes we are hoping for infant arms best outcome possible lol

well the cfl's i do have are gonna be used strictly for veg. Made up my mind last night ad it looks like I will either be picking up two 150w hps sunsystems or one 400 w sun system for flowering both I'm getting at a deal. So either or. I dont wanna go too far on the topping because this is my first grow I wanna get a feel for how big the canopy will get feel me? Plus with continued LST more tops will appear right?

I haven't ran into any problems with nutrient deficiencies with any of my plants. I use filtered water and fox farms ocean forest soil thats pretty much it no added nutrients I dont like the idea of them.
If you are using filtered water meaning bottled water? If it not natural spring or mineral water, then it's most likely city water that has been purified and FYI, there is zero ca/mg in it. Also if you didn't lime your FFOF you are going to have an issue later in flower using water with 0ppm/0ec. However if what you refer to as filtered water does have a starting PPM then yes you have ca/mg in it, and tho its still RO/DI treated, ca/mg an trace Na has been added for taste. If the water taste great to you, then Its good for them. I would add 1 tbsp. dolomite lime in a few weeks as a top dress along with some Fox Farms Happy Frog Bat Guano 0-5-0 for flowering. I like to put 2-3 tbsp. of 0-5-0 at the roots when I transplant.

first things first. when plants switch seasons and flower they stretch and go from symmetrical to asymmetrical. Meaning that they stagger their intermodal branching and stretch open to make room for flowers and other reasons. Their is a general rule of flower and that's a 40/60 rule. 40% is going to be stretch and the other 60% of time spent in flower will be focused on floral production. Its very important to maintain the veg spectrum for the first 2 weeks of flower (12/12- not pre-flower). At day 15 then its safe to throw the HPS on. This way you get compact cola's that are solid from top to bottom, not that little shit that everyone has.

Its also worth noting that being this is your first grow and you are still trying to learn to read your plants, that's great you seem to have a good grip thus far, however, I would not go too crazy with the LST because all these tops you are creating will all be at various distances from the roots. This un-even flower set with varied concentrations of hormones, coupled with a un-even nutrient distribution, you are going to have some nice buds, but most will be flarffy popcorn. Now since you got a ton of tops and these all have fan leaves, you will now block out light and futher starve those flarffy lil buds. That's why we open up the plant as to ensure light penetration/coverage to ALL flowering sites.

Anyone ever heard of the GrowMax Light System? Any good?
Is the internal ballast digital or magnetic. If its digital the it's a dual HPS/MH. Magnetic ballasts only run HPS or MH, but not both. As far as "i this one good" they are all the same, its the bulbs that make a difference and can vary greatly in price and quality. Make sure to have good air circulation and ventilation with any HID lighting system. Watch the heat during flower and the distance between bud and bulb. Flowers burn easily and don't repair themselves.

I am doing a bit of trimming to remove leaves that are getting in the way of tops that are coming up. I'm sure later its gonna become a bit more difficult JM planning on also putting a few 6700k in with the hps for mixed spectrum. So I guess I'll run them for about a week or two into flower with the cfls and then throw the hps on. I'm gonna be separating the grow tent so that I can run a perpetual grow.

Only hps. It comes with the bulb in the picture Philips hortilux I believe. I'm thinking of lining the tent with panda film to separate the flowering and veg area

Not bottled water filtered machine water from those machines where you fill up your 5 gallon bottles. Lol tastes good. You dont think that the nutrients the soil already has will do? I'm using fox farms ocean forest.

Up dated pictures random seed was lst a bit more last night because it was getting very crowded. This one is a day shorts of two weeks into flower. I think I see white hairs coming from the tops under the microscope.

I think that cannabis loves ca/mg and the mix alone has enough for 1 month.

As far as the ball in question. I would say wait 1 week and see if their is a pistle that pops out of it, then it's a calyx and will eventually become covered in trichomes.(not that they are worth anything really, at least compared to the actual bud) If male, the ball will open into a flower weeks before any female, so removal is not so abrupt. If it a hermi, just locate everyday the male flowers/banana's and cut the out. You are preventing pollination that way. good luck

Figured they could be calyx's just wasn't sure. Appreciate the response again sir. How are your girls doing? Still having issues with deficiencies? What light cycle are you on?
