INDOOR GROW #2 First Grow journal @ 2000WATT!!!Sub's Super Soil

So my laptop battery died just before I finished my 8th paragraph and I have to work in about 7hrs so i need sleep......

I want to first thank everyone in the RIU community you have helped me learn so much about this mystical flower and for that I am very Grateful.

This isnt my first grow but it is my first grow at my new location growing with my roommate who is learning just as I am about the sweet chebah

That being said i do not know everything nor do I claim to there is always room for tips/improvement.

Please follow me down this journey. I would love some feedback, Constructive criticism is always appreciated that being said please dont leave me comments/messages about how lame or "gay" my grow is, If you have nothing nice or constructive to say then please dont say anything at all.

Now a little about my grow
I received 18 clones from a friend and about a month or so ago he wasn’t aware of the strain so who knows what potency/yield is going to look like(please let me know what you think the strain is or looks like . I also am a medical care provider and my patient has given me a Deep purple x Sour Diesel clone which he had stashed in his closet for 4-6 months with 1 23w CFL for light. I also just germinated a bunch of some "white chocolate" a strain my sister engineered.
All of these are in the Veg room under 2 1000w Lights 1 being a HPS and the other a MH.
I very pleased with the growth I have seen from these girls many of the plants have multiple colas which I plan on LSTing them on my next day off to help with yield.
I am a true believer in organics and a 100% organic grow I am using Subcool's Super soil mix for this grow the guy is the man. And a very good base soil is also being used to avoid nute burn. I am hoping at the very least to yield 2 1/2 pounds the more the better.By the way my entire room is covered in 2mm mylar. I wish I had BIG Bud .
I have hopes of starting a collective some day and make my own strains but first I wish to master the art of growing.

I do need help with the Deep purple x Sour D it was in shitty soil and started to die so I put it in better stuff with the Super Soil I think the heat difference also played a major role in the problems with this thing it sat in a closet for six months under one CFL and then was moved into a room with 2000W of true badass unfiltered light.
Also I know I have spider mites please let me know your techniques on how to rid them!
I have been using a Neem oil mixture that usually does the trick but I am curious to what you guys do.

So I just LST'd about 6 of my plants I have about 8ft of vertical height that my plants can grow so I'm not sure if I am going to benefit from this at all? Anyone with experience with LST out there that can answer this question? I have 17 plants (2 died) under one 1000w HPS and one 1000w MH are my plants going to get too bushy for my lights meaning I'm going to need to get more? Also should I LST all of them so I can lower my lights? Also How much of an increase in yield roughly do you see on adverge when a plant is LST'd?(I know strain plays a big role in this) my friend is flowering his right now his clones came from the same batch mine did all are Medical hybrids I'm waiting to see what he yields!


Now on too another question Anyone use L.E.D's for veg? I'm building a separate veg room and didn't really want to spend another grand on it(don't have the funds) And at a local grow shop I found an L.E.D grow setup that works in the T5 & T8 sockets for $119 I need a setup that is going to be sufficient for 20 plants any ideas?

I am really interested but your pix suck and I don't want to wait any extra amount of time to download through that server. I use a photobucket account and share through that method.

A little update I urine feed 2 of my plants and it burnt them and they died! so now just 18 plants all females.

Hey I'm new here...first post actually. I just found your journal and couldn't be happier. I'm interested in starting a indoor super soil grow come January. I'll be following along to see how ours goes.

Holy shit its been awhile but my grow has been cropped actually was cropped about 1 month ago, any how I have pics that i will post as soon as I can get them on here,Grow went great though. I yielded over a pound of dry smoke it is fucking Dr. DANKINSTEIN!, The Purple is probably about 5X Danker then the SKUNK. I yielded under what I was shooting for but I am going to start the new girls in flower shortly and I have already topped then, I am hoping to at least double the yield Round 2.
