Noticed last night that a few of younger plants leaves were "cupping" a bit so raised the light up 4 inches. Seems to have cured the problem.

The oldest plants are now 23 days old. Gonna give them a feeding today of Alaskan fish :bigjoint:

Decided to keep them in the table this round. The biggest ones are all on the outside so hopefully i get away with it. If the ones in the middle get to tall maybe i'll tie them over a bit. Will see how it goes.
glad you are keeping them in the table for this grow,i think you will be just fine:bigjoint:let them lst them self,by reaching for the light, lst'em all over the bed, males a show first, pull'em,more room for lst:bigjoint:that whould be nice to see

Really bad idea leaving them in that bed - you see how they're all leaning towards the light already? Imagine what that's gonna look like in a month or two...........that's why you need them to be in individual containers so you can rotate them..................seriously man, I implore you (for your own sake), get them in some containers.

You've got a reasonably nice setup and I'd hate to see it get mucked up by something that's so easy to fix.
I agree with Bob here.. you should sex them before you put them in the soil bed, that way if you have a few side by side that you have to pull you can spread the rest out. You could use 3 or 5 gal smart pots..then when there are sexed you can just recess them in the soil..the roots willl grow right through the smart pots and spread throughout the tray. But since you already have soil in the trays you might wait until your next grow for the smart pots. IMO, I would get them in some pots though while you still can. Just my 2 cents.;-)

Set up looks good though..similar to mine expecpt I am using two 4x4 trays and 2 1000 watters.

Trust us, dude - you need to get them outta that bed, and it'd be pretty easy right now.

I appreciate the advice and i am going to follow it i just can't do it for this grow. Right now there is 214 litres of dirt in that bed. To use 7 gallon pots for all those plants i would need another 316 Litres of dirt which is 3 more bales at $40 each= $120+cost of 20 pots. My cash situation right now isn't to good and i can't fork out the cash to do it. Unless my math is totally screwed which it could be :P But 1 bale of sunshine mix#4 is 107 litres. The smart pots is a good idea to but again cash is to low right now. Not to mention nowhere here has 5 or 7 gallon pots right now they have to order them in. Gotta love livin in the stix!! Oh i just remembered i also bought the last bale of sunshine#4 in town to finish that bed and they weren't palnning on ordering more unless i asked them to....lol

Going to have to make due with how it is now for this grow and use your guys advice on the next round. ;)

First off how deep is that bed of soil? Correct me if I'm wrong here but isn't ganja one of those plants that benefits from a deep tap root and not shallow root spread? You can order grow bags from any place on the internet. I use half gallon grow bags for the first two weeks under t-5's. I use the ones that are white on the outside and black inside. After a couple of weeks vegging in the grow bag, I cut the bag in half and take the entire contents and transplant them into waste paper baskets. I am currently using two gallon containers and the half gallon transplant into them is almost shock free. My plants just took off as soon as I transplanted them. I think if you are going to run two lights you may need to upgrade to a six inch fan. I also agree with the others about individual containers. My four by four platform is on casters, I can turn the whole table and the containers.

The pics that appear blue are from the mh light and the plants are two weeks old when they were taken and were just transplanted, the others are from this morning and the plants are now twenty nine days old and have been under 12/12 since monday.

Some great looking plants Heads Up!! What are you using for nutes? From what i have read and seen so far in my research mj is perfectly happy with a shallow bed of soil. If the roots and taproot can't go down they just spread out with no ill effects. Another fella that i actually got this idea from has amazing results. After he chops them he has to cut the soil into squares to remove it because the roots are so dense through the soil. I probably won't have the same results as i am new to the indoor grow scene. Will just have to see how this goes i plan on trying some lst on these and see how that works. Next time around i may try containers so i can move the plants around.

The soil is 5 inches deep in the bed. I plan on upgrading to a 6 inch fan for the lights. They get a little warmer than what i would like and so throw a bit too much room into the room. I seen a few days ago here at our local gardening center that they have 2 10 inch can fans that move 560 CFM and they are selling them for $80 each. Not sure how scaling down from 10 inch to 4 inch would go though. Unfortunately those reflectors have 4 inch connectors for ducting.

I have made a few mistakes already in setting up this grow that i am going to correct next time around. But thats what hobbies are all about so far having lots of fun with it ;) The plants have really taken off in the last 36 hours will try to get some pics up soon. Seriously thinking about flippin them to flower in the next 3-4 days. Also have to get going on something for odour control. There are some that stink like mad already can't imaging once they start flowering :D

Topped the fellas about 10 min ago few updated pics for ya. Also removed the extra layers of screen i put on the window. They were restricting the exhaust from the lights too much. Lights are staying much cooler now.

Looking for a old window AC unit that i can gut and vent through that for a bit of stealth.

Well it has been about 7 days since the last pictures i posted so figured i would post some more :bigjoint:

They are really growing now with the exception of 2. Those 2 are still growing good but gaining almost no height. They just might get shadowed out by the rest.

Totally redid my window and now all you see is a blind from outside :bigjoint:

Going to flip these a little earlier than what i had planned.....in 2 days for various reasons....the main one being a smoke shortage in the house!!

Really impressed with the seaweed extract i mist them with everyday before the lights come on. You can see in the pictures they are still wet from the spray. haven't had any troubles with them burning because the lights are on them right after the misting.

The roots are really starting to move through the bed. When i go to take the dirt out i think i will have to cut the soil into pieces!!

As always opinions and comments are welcome :bigjoint:
