Indoor Moving To Outdoor

This is my first grow,
I wish to start my seedlings inside then move them outside into some bushland, (ive already got good spots)
i can only grow in a small box (a few inches bigger than a shoe box) in which i have only 1 13watt cfl, about 2 inches away from seedling top, and a computer fan on the side of it.
I am just looking for some tips to how i can make my plant strong enough to move outside.
My main problem is it is the wrong tim eof year to plant as i live in Australia, Would it be wise to wait until it warms up?
Thanks

I am only starting off seedlings to be big enough to move outside, but want them to be fairly resilient, Bigger box not possible, living with very tight people and need to have extreme stealth.
ill only have 1-2 plants in there at a time.

well not sure what to tell you, that is what I am doing... start indoors and move outside in a few weeks... but I have a hell of a lot more light than that (2-24" 24 watt T5 lights)... not too sure what to tell you about that, good luck and hopefully someone else can take it from here

ill try stronger lights
thanks anyways

thats a good idea... you can get a lot stronger cfl's than 13 watts...if you only have one light get the strongest cf you can find, the less light you have the more the plant will stretch trying to get light

i just found this thread, I too am trying to move seedlings outside and would like to know at what point to make the move, how tall should they be or after how much time inside . . . I live in brazil so the season is backward I will be starting the project in another month or so and would like to be ready. any advice at all would be appreciated.

G,day mate ,it wont be long before it warms up , i dont know about your light etc as i use a 400m.h to bring them up ,september is not a bad time to move them outdoors as not to hot depending on where you are ,just adjust them slowly to outside then go plant .
it is starting to get nice days at present in w.a but still fucking cold at night so i will wait a bit ,good luck :peace::peace:

Yeah I think you can do it too. I don't see why not. You just may need to tend to them very carefully until the weather is right. It will make them tougher plants too and you can sneak the plants in at night for a few hours.
