before I invest in some cameras I want to be sure the infrared or led lights are not going to harm flowering room. Just worried about hermies and stress. I've always taped up any led displays on ac dehumidifier, etc. I want to be able to watch my room while I'm off at work. Thanks in advance for any input, advice or info.

I'm curious about this! I would love to put a few of my security cameras in my room also. Now I need to go research the topic.....

Use them the leds are not bright enough. I have cameras and if I sit on my back porch st night with no lights on the red leds are on bit if you don't no its there you will likely not see it

Being able to peek in on my grow while away would be cool but can I ask why YOU want this? How big a room?

I Am interested in using some for time lapse video. Run the VGA to a card in a computer and supply power for the led's with an external power supply. I guess I could just record with the DVR then edit it for time lapse.

I have a 4 camera setup outside of the room that would get used when I replace it with an 8 camera setup.
