So I have been looking into this blue InkBird. Are they worth it? I currently just have my dehumidifier hooked up to a timer. I just ordered a good humidifier notice during nights out have to run the dehu and during lights on I need to add humidity. So I plug my.dehu and the humidifier into this InkBird and they work accordingly?

They are brilliant, I do not have the version you are thinking of getting a controller l, the review looks excellent, they do help you dial your grow in.
Awesome man yah I keep dehu on a timer, so I would have to keep my humidifier on a time, or I can plug in one inkbird to controll both devices. I have the 67 remote and been going back looking. Just ordered a 100$ humidifier. So may as well spend the 50$ for the Inkbird. Lol

You need to check carefully, the items you have attached to the inkbird might not like being turned on/off, they may have memory wipes or quicker malfunction at the digital level. I had an issue with a de-hue this way, and have read others who have spoke of this kind of thing.

I won't turn it off because I would be using it. Lol

An InkBird or timer will turn it off. ;-)

The only way to start many dehumidifiers and other things with digital controls is to push the power button, switching on the power with an external control won't work. Some have a feature called auto restart or auto reset that allows the unit to restart after a power interruption.

I recently bought two older dehumidifiers off Craigslist. The older ones last and don't have digital controls so they work just fine with timers or controllers.

Inkbirds work great, been using them for years.

Ok so my humidifier and dehu are digital. So your saying the inkbird won't work to just use a timer?

But my dehumidifier is digital and in a timer and it comes in when timer is time. So it should be the same with thr inkbird, right?

Well my expensive digital timer had an open slot I remwbered, so I plugged humidifier into that to come in when my lights come on because my humidity drops to 38. Want to keep it around 50 percent. And I already had my dehu on a timer to come.on at lights out. So I think I can save the money. This should work but I know for future references. Tha js everyone, have a great weekend. Happy Friday!!
