Inline fan to lower temps/RH?

Ok thanks.
My buds are always dry. Like when i squeeze them there is no stickiness on your hand. No smell either. All my grows seem like this and i always have high humidity so for this one i really wanted to get the RH down and see if it makes any difference.
Taken this morning...
Cheers!
I see you have some light/heat issue going on there causing foxtailing, you should be careful with that dehu. My dehu has been off last month, it would cook my plants instantly. They were batlling 31,5 degrees last 2 weeks when light on and 28 when light off. Kicking on dehu is not a good idea for sure. That plant looks like average genetics, when there is no smell and stickiness, dehu wont fix that…

Ok thanks. Ive just switched it off because the air coming out was really warm and temps, well lets just say too high. I didnt expect the dehu to put out so much heat! Whats the fkn point if it lowers humidity but raises temps?
Its 33° here so pretty damned hot, im pissed off cos this is an auto, or supposed to be. but she's behaving like a photo, no flowering until i put her on 12/12. Growing in hot summer conditions is a PITA which is why i grow autos, to get a crop in around spring before summer.

I am not specialist, but it can be because of keeping the dehu working properly, when the air is comming through evaporator which is ice cold, than it could work partialy like an AC and there would be actually no significant change in RH since you dry and cold that air in one step. Not talking about lower temps causing dehu work less effectively, so there are different types of dehus for low temps. RH is closely connected to temp and if you are able to control both than you are following VPD chart rather than recommended late flowering RH. Obviously when you are not able to control them and temp is high, the last thing you want is to kick them in 30-40% RH. Plants can handle high temp for some period of time when kept hydrated and low fed, there will be some minor damage ofc. For me it is not such a big deal if I see they have like 3 weeks left, but I will definitely put there AC after chop, because high temp when drying equals sweat ruined buds. BTW I dunno where that myth about auto came from, but it is definitely not for begginers or easy to grow. You need to know what you are doing to produce some real stuff otherwise its just wasting time producing mid grade quality buds which makes you feel pissed off. I totally agree with you that humidity has big influence on trichrome production, I have not noticed some extra trichs when RH kept around 40 but I definitely can say that high RH diminsh their production, so I see your point…

Ok thanks man. Yeah I'm not so well informed about these devices, im just mega disappointed, I thought get a dehu and I can control my RH and it hasn't done that. Like...why is it blowing out hot air, is that supposed to happen?
This is the 4th auto I've grown and its the first time I've had problems, the others were all Dutch Passion I think they have really got their auto genetics dialled in. They ran a few weeks longer than they say but I was happy with them. This is a RQS, I won't be doing another one of their autos.
Cheers!
