Hey CP how’s things mate? How did that chemdog go in the end? Hope alls well.

Last grow ended up pretty good. Got 23 oz dried flower and 52g of nice blond bubble from 4 plants.
Started 3 GraniteHaze f6 from Speedrun last week in Autopots. These are supposed to be heavy yielding autos and I decided that 3 plants will probably work out best for me.
I was also fighting heat in my south facing room and installed a small window AC unit which really helps to keep temps in the tent where I want them.

Nice result. Granite haze huh, is it a sativa leaner? I’ve got some blockberry x super silverhaze seedlings going on the side at the moment, haven’t tried any hazes but looking forward to seeing how they go. Was it you or cp who did the chemdog last run?

I want to try running a real sativa soon, going to try and source either a mango haze or a Nevil haze from shanti to give a go.. should test the skills a bit I expect.

Yeah it's supposed to be 60/40 sativa leaning.
It was me that had the chemdog. A little disappointing honestly. For a f6 2 very different phenos. I liked their CDLC much better. I really liked the 2 f1 freebies that came with it much better. They both seemed to be more sativa like.

Hey man! Ive been busy too and have seldom been online here. It was Marzig with Chemdog. I ran CDLC and ManBearAlienPig x Iced and Baked. CDLC was its usual stanky stoney self. This time the MBAP x InB is great. Its a step up in potency from anything ive had in awhile. Sucks that was the last one. I still have a BBHP mother and a clone. Amazingly tough plants! I went to the beach for a week and had a couple seedlings of other stuff id started before knowing i was leaving. Came back and they all were crispy except the bottom of the BBHP. I stripped her down and the damned thing came back with just frkn water. Ive been ready to try something else but these tough ass plants just keep going lol. Hope your stuff is doing well. I figured you were busy.

Whats up man? Hate that Chemdog disappointed. Ive had a crazy summer. Some plants were great. Others meh. Im also wanting to try some Speedrun stuff. Im looking at Pound Dog. I still love my Mephisto stuff. But, i stunted my last run overfeeding the soil. 2 zips of fire is still not lasting long. This grow im running Grow Dots on 1 plant and theyre doing amazing. Maybe 3-4 weeks left and ive had zero issues at all. Im going autopots too soon as i can afford em. Ive seen huge plants on those things.

I might be a little too critical sometimes because by the time it's dry and cured I've usually built up a pretty good tolerance already. Everybody tells me both Chemdogs are great. Each plant had totally different structures. One had really monster buds and the other smaller but very uniform buds. I'm not knocking Mephisto at all! I really wanted to try Speedrun Granitehaze because some people are getting pound plus plants in Autopots. I want to try some Nightowl too eventually.

I totally get it. When ive been able to have enough of a strain to have some make it through cure, ive been toking it for 2 months already. I do love Mephistos quality but some of the phenos ive gotten from the F1's were small yielders. Im ready to give a couple of Speedrun's strains a try. Nightowl too. If i could start pulling a steady 6-8 zip per plant yield id be happy as hell. Everybody loves about every Mephisto plant ive grown too , but i also am a little picky. Some strains just have a better buzz to me. Good luck on the Granite Haze!

I’m glad that Bbhp is still going, hang onto it. If the mother needs revitalising you can pull the plant out of the pot and give the roots a trim back and it can sort of renew the vigor a bit if she starts looking a bit old.
I have been busy, but should be coming into a nice quiet spell for a while I’m thinking (fingers crossed) where I can focus on growing again. I’ve got four strains at various stages at the moment and a bunch of mystery seeds I’m popping that I was gifted from an old hippy that I’m hoping to find some magic in.. he showed me a bud of some stuff he grew and it was so nice and had the old school skunk smells that I hadn’t seen in ages.. might come in handy for breeding anyway.

Granite Haze day 11 from first sprout. They each popped up about a day apart. Started in Root Riot plugs and as soon as tap root appeared each was moved into Autopot with 100% Canna Coco. Started top watering each at 0.6 EC gradually upping EC and lights.
This morning lights up to 400 ppfd and EC at 1.6. I'll probably keep top watering for at least another week or two while increasing EC and lights before starting bottom feeding.
It looks kinda empty in the tent right now but will hopefully fill up quickly. I built the bench so I can work on them while sitting on a bucket. At 69 years old it's too hard on my back and knees when they're sitting on the floor, lol. Not worried about them getting too tall with a 8 foot ceiling in the tent.

Looking good! I feel ya on the age sore back and knees. Im just in my 50's and i still cant do what i used to. Im wanting to run Coco. Ive been waiting for my local shop to get Canna coco, but he keeps trying to sell me some cheap brand. Ive heard horror stories about using bad coco. I have almost got my cash right to order from Speedrun. They have some really heavy yielders.
