i posted about maintance coming in and all they did was install a new smoke alarm. now the inspectors are coming back out tuesday to make sure all is good. they apt complex had me sign a waiver saying it was ok or that they warned me or whatever.. idk but i put all my ladies in a closet outside on back pourch where no one would no and then covered around them with a bunch of junk so if they open the closet it looks normal. no one would guess they where there doesnt smell like it either. my question is should i leave them there for the inspectors or should i move them? there is no reason for them to go outside or even open the closet but if they do they still wont see them. so im golden and theres no pipeing or electricit out there for them too look at so there should be absolutley no reason. also can they bring the police in with dogs to sniff or is that just to much? im just beig paranoid because there so close to being done and dont wanna throw them out lol. thanks guys. also my ladies are 3-5 weeks from harvest lol yay

i'd rent one of those $19.99- 19foot uhaul truck, put everything inside. they'd have no right to check that. i've done this several times. lights, plants, nutes, everything shoved in back, no windows, locking ability. small price to pay especially if its just for a day

The only thing ill say, and i say this from being a fish monger. Just because you cant smell it, well. To others it might completely stink. When you are aroubd a smel, you get used to it. When i grew, i thought i was dandy, then someone would visit and the first thing they would say is i know that smell. Dont get complacent

Mandy has a good idea, however the only way any sort of law enforcement/dogs could be brought in is if someone tells them that you're either
A.) Growing smoke
B.) Selling smoke
They generally won't give a fuck over personal, but yeah you should be good man. If you want to be extra careful you could rent a Uhaul, hell they even have electrical outlets!

Rent a uhaul. That's what I'm gonna be doing soon. But I'm moving lol. I also had a friend do that. Rented one and parked it in the drive way with all the ladies inside. He actually did it twice. All cause duplex changed owners. But it worked. Cheap too.

It's called covering your bases... Sure, maybe the inspector will just do as the maintenance man did. What if he decides to inspect further. Now you're fucked. Brilliant advice...

Maybe google the word 'contingency'..

I dealt with this very thing a couple months back, landlord said he would be back in 3 days to do a "walk through" Well I have a entire bedroom converted into a room, with 4 1000s, ducted out into attic and a AC duct in the ceiling as well, I moved the plants to buddys garage and took everything down and put tapists up over the wholes and packed the room with every box i could find to where u could get 2 feet into the room.

I have removed the carpet as well as added 2 30 and a 50 breaker with very uncode like outlets and it worked, was crazy amount of work and hassle but i'm still going.

You've got to be a hell of a douche to do that to someone's property.

I lived here for 8 years, I'll fix it when i leave you got to be a hell of douche for coming to a forum like this and caring about a rental.
So you're gonna replace the ceiling right? What the hell has growing weed got to do with respecting someones property? I guess when you grow weed by default morals don't exist right? hey, if i'm breaking one law,. might as well break my legal contract as well and fuck up someone elses house. Fingers crossed he catches on before too long :)

Uhm, why do you care about what he does with his rental property? This thread is about helping another grower stay under the radar, not too evaluate eachothers morals or use of property. I could respectively say that's his business as to what and how he does, and if you've such a moral high ground to look down on him for damage to property that not only he's paying to rent, but will be charged for if he doesn't fix it, then you must be God's only living relative.
