Instructions For DIY EXTRACTOR TUBE HOLDER?

I'm tired of holding up the extractor tube for long periods of time.

Tube specs

16" x 2 and a quarter inch opening.
Glass.

Anybody know of a thread with instructions on how to build a rack/mount that can hold an extractor tube safely and effectively?
I couldnt find one but I see they make them and sell them for like 200 dollars.
I'd rather make mine.

Here is one carefully crafted from two notched blocks held together with all thread and wing nuts, sitting on a modified scientific grade cat litter bucket, over a pie plate sitting in hot water.

I once made a 6 tube stand. Shit worked killer on yield. But I could never freeze my tubes due to the size of the setup.

if its too large to put in freezer, its no good.

tube stands make life soooooo easy though. I miss it.

I now use a tube 12-18 inches long, with an ID of 3 inches, I spray with a tumbling effect like a cement truck mixer.

Thanks for the input guys, I'm gonna go the wingnut route, I basically imagined the same thing.

Today I managed to make this with pieces salvaged from around the warehouse..just a foam corner used for shipping, wedged nice and flush in there.

Alas, sadly that same name wasn't available on this forum, so I picked one that sounded appropriate for a smiling superannuated, scarred and tattered, mixed breed Euro/Native American of the 21st century, with a pot belly, grey hair, missing teeth, and bionic knees.
