Are investors delusional?
In August last year Aurora cannabis shares were going for about $2.50. A friend and I both bought in... I didn't have much money to spare but I did what I could. My friend though... he bought 25,000 shares... cuz he has that kind of money. About a month ago Aurora cannabis hit almost $14 a share. Do the math?
Yes cannabis stocks will crater eventually when the oversupply hits the market and the price drops on. But investing is all about timing... my friend cashed out at $12 a share. Once the price a weed crashes and the stocks go with it my friend plans to buy it again.
As for the buy-and-hold guys... they are in it for the Long Haul. They will ride out that storm...
Meanwhile, the big players like Aurora cannabis know exactly what's going to happen. In fact they are going to make it happen. And they will be there to pick up the pieces at the end.
So while they're estimates of demand going up by 17% Maybe overly optimistic they aren't going anywhere. They will snuff out their competition and take whatever market share they can and they will make a profit doing it... a very good profit.
And over time as their Market grows in proportion to population growth their profits will too. Make no mistake... The big players know exactly what they're doing...
Put it this way... people on the level of Aurora cannabis don't Gamble. They make s*** happen
