Are you trying to filter the cannabis out of the cannabis water?

Lol no the water is for cannabis, i have calcium build up, i know ion exchange turns calcium and magnesium into sodiums so idk if its safe to use or not
Sorry, I was just messing around. I don't know the answer, but I'm interested in knowing, so I'll be watching the thread.

The common water filter only substitutes 2+ (calcium and magnesium) for 1+ (sodium and potassium) to prevent scaling, but it is not good for plants. EC remains the same. Not sure how calcium sulfite filters water and which elements will be presented after whole process and that kinda sucks…

Not enough of it will be expelled into the water to even matter. I had to look into this when installing a filtration system into my kitchen for our pretty bad well water. I ended up just going with a reverse osmosis system.

That said, if you use a Reverse Osmosis filter just know it will remove a lot of the stuff the plants need from the water such as Calcium, Iron, Magnesium etc which you later may end up having to supplement.

Are you using City water or Well water? I cannot use my well water unfortunately it is like 400 ppm of iron and all sorts of shit you don't want in your body.

stretch it down with RO to an acceptable level and, if necessary, sup Ca Mg S using CalNit & Epsom so that, at least, you arrive at medium hardness level and more Ca & S than Cl or Na (to prevent lockout)
rest of feed from bottles
you dont want to enrich your water with Na at all
