Iranian C99 & Iranian G13 Anyone with knowledge of these strains?

DR Greenthumb seeds. Haven't really seen too much information his Iranian crosses. The higher than average price has definitely scared a lot of people away, limiting the information on his genetics.

Yes your right one of the Doc's strains, I've found little information I do know they're a cross of something with C99 and the infamous G13 was hoping someone would know what they're crossed with. Thanks!

I grew iranian g13. Big yields, terrible smoke. I had a hard time giving it away to friends that wee broke.

Over time I have realized that with big yielding plants, quality is often sacrificed.

Damn that's not good news, I'll keep that in mind from now on bigger doesn't mean better should of learned that lesson with my X-wife! Thank!

I've experimented with Dr G's Iranian several times, hoping for something better to happen. VERY good yield, but the potency was lackluster. If grown outdoors the buds are going to be challenged by mold because of size and density. I've crossed it with a couple of good performers and have had OK results, but like the original Iranian, lacked potency.

Ive grown the iranian g13 for several years
great yeilds and good smoke a little on the loose side could be harder buds
several people on the michigan threads love it
I have tried other breeders and always go back to greenthumb because he has never mislead me
he says it finishes in late sept it does
there are alot of haters but you nees to try for yourself

I'd ask the resident Dr. GreenThumb guru grower here, Dr. Gruber.........he'll know or send you where you need to go.

I grew some but gave them away to another RIU member because I was moving out of state. They are amazingly hardy plants. I don't know about the potency but I do know that the biggest difference is the grower. Very few people can grow great pot, regardless of the genetics.

having grown docs stuff since 1999 i have done a few of the crosses..some were early testers.

i have tried c99 x iran outdoors because normal c 99 would not finish in time up here

i found it basically identical to bros grimm c99 except it finished before end of september.

due to being a fair bit sativa it was less prone to mould compared to the indicas

I know this thread is old but i have tried iranian cindy 99 and i dont see nothing wrong with it big chunky fairly dense buds very nice face high.

The stuff grows good in the northeast finishes early too.

Cross that with gelato 33 or purple punch i bet that would create something really good

Some of the Iranian / C99 will finish as early as late August, early September. Couple years back, pulled 17 ounces from a stealthy one. Began harvesting it in late august. Decent haul for such a quick finish. No mold, Good sticky buds and fine smoke too.

Same pack of seeds also had a couple other girls that didn't produce as much and the smoke was okay, but nothing remarkable.
There is some size and potency variation in this cross, but you do get 11 seeds from Dr. Greenthumb usually, so they'll probably be something good in there...

No experience with the Iranian / G13.

I got a few friends that have strains from others countries an its yields are different an I mean huge thickness is out of this world.but it’s high is much different you can feel it to the head an down your body.i personally love white widow always have but one thing I noticed is a lot of growers are in it for the money an not focusing on the strain a lot of half ass junk..where is all the good buds at...
