Mimosa or GSC extreme

Looking for some input on strain selection for an upcoming outside grow. I have the land and have grown veggies outside and cannabis inside so let's decide.

Looking for an impressive plant and a good yielder. Will have a 10x10x8 small barn setup for bad weather days and for flowering. My zone ( 6 ) is a kinda bad area for long flower strains as by mid September you can have week rains or no rain for weeks and then it goes from 87 to 45. I will use the small barn for night time during flower and will be able to control temp and humidity with plenty of ventilation.

Mimosa from Kind seeds and GSC Extreme from ILGM are my 2 choices and I think either will work out but if anyone has any input from growing this strain please chime in.

I’ve grown mimosa outdoors and I’ve grown and a slightly different strain of GSC. I was impressed with both, yield was about the same. My greenhouse is only about 6 feet tall, and each would have far exceeded that had I not had to extensively HST them. Don’t think you can go wrong with either, but I think I liked the GSC better.

I wouldn’t grow anything from ilgm. They are just white label trash bought in bulk, renamed something popular and sold to people who don’t know any better. If you’re worried about moisture you might do well with Dragons flame genetics. He has a ton of strains geared towards outdoor cultivation that are bred for mold resistance. He has put in a ton of work over the years.

Well great. I had no idea the seeds I bought were junk. Wow just wow. I feel so wronged.

Guess I should just bail on my current White Widow from ILGm

If you’ve already bought them I wouldn’t stress but they certainly aren’t the real white widow or any of the other strains they claim. There’s been lots of people who have grown very good weed from their gear but it sounds like a crap shoot. If you plant enough of any seed you should find someone enjoyable.

For example, Shanti has the original white widow and calls it black widow now so there is no such thing as a true white widow in seed form. None of their stuff is authentic though and they are just capitalizing on names of strains people have heard of.

20 bucks a bean for white label gsc x durban?... ILGM has balls, I'll give them that!

Both the strains I bought were 149 for 20 seeds. Perhaps you are just having issues with math? By far the least expense in my grows have been the $7 seeds.
