is coco hydro

im a newb at growing indoors and was thinking of using a hand watered coco setup, but was wandering would this be considered hydro

...most people will never be able to tell the difference between an organic grown plant, or a hydroponically grown plant. The strain is what makes the bud good. The proper fertilizing will make the good strain better. Hydro or soil, you get the same product if both are fertilized proper, and all other factors are optimal. I grow both ways and get the same product.

hi jay
i am growing in COCO and using it just like soil it is working really well. You need to be alot more precise ph etc because soil is more forgiving than coir.

you are using a HYDRO growth medium but you do not have to use a hydro kit to grow ... do a little research first about coir for eg soak it in ph6 water and rinse it to help get rid of any salts.
when you water aim for 20% runoff as you are looking to flush a little with each watering.

I'm useing the blackgold coco blend I add 1/3 perlite and 1 tsp per gal of soil garden lime. I treat mine like a hydro grow.

Yes even handwatered coco is hydroponics.

Screw the perlite, coco is so airy already, Canna Coco is 25%
air even when fully saturated with water. You can't over water
in it, you can fully saturate it several times in one day and not over
water it.

I've never had as good of growth as I am experiencing in my 100% canna
coco mix, using Humboldt Nutrient Master A&B line.

I recently switched from hydro to soil/coco.I mix 2/3 fiber to 1/3 coir.... Almost drains to well. I water everyother day, nutes everyother watering and pour a few cups of water on them to keep it moist all the days inbetween.looking pretty good.
