Is hot tub PH down safe to use for DWC?

I was in walmart and saw powdered ph down for hot tubs in the pool section very cheap. Is this stuff safe to use in a DWC system? If not whats the best easy to find, cheap, ph down.

some PH adjusting solutions use sodium, which can add excessive salts.
