Technically there is no signs of either sex, however, you can tell based on the location of the nodes and the "thing" we'll call it forming that it will become pollen sacks.

A pistol usually develops lower down more towards the base of the node.

So Yes it is a little premature to say male or female.

But I would bet on it that it is a Male.

OK..I waited a little longer, now i have a few more pics. what i suppose is fem, is the first two, then male on last two. Can anybody else please confirm this? Also what the hell can i do with these males?(i believe i have like 8, out of 12) They havent gotten any coating on leaves. I just chunk em out? (i live in woods, noone will c, lol.

well heres the pics...first ones i think are more pear shaped, and last two i believe are more ball shaped. what do you guys and gals think?

shit, I still cant tell! but the main stalk appears purple, so that might be a good sign. Keep waiting , what have you got to loose?

I looked at lower branches...Theres a double poking out, Its def balls. I just went thru them all..7 def males. 4 def fems, and 1 unsure still. Thanks all for your help. I found the pictures in the growfaq of emerging preflowers very useful also. Thanks again!!

you'll be able 2 tell in a couple days, its to hard to say with those pictures. it could just be knew leaves comin in but i'm thinking its male.

still no Clear definitive signs, I would wait until you actually see balls before any measure on take down.
