Is It Illegal to Buy Clones & MMJ From Other Patients (craigslist)

Whats up stoners, I was on craigslist and came across some afgoo and ice clones for cheap. But im kinda skeptic about getting them. Isnt it illegal to buy clones, MMJ if they are not from a collective? It seems legit, the ad says the guy is an MMJ patient and says to have rec form ready for verification. But i stay withtin the laws, and if its illegal to buy clones,weed from other patients, i WILL NOT do it. help please. I live in california if that helps.

under federal law marijuana is always illegal.

go to a shop somewhere and get them there...
