Is it just me, or are there ALOT of angry people in Michigan.

Im just flabbergasted at the amount of negativity in the michigan threads. Its like theres a group of people going around the threads and just spreading total negativity and anger. I understand alot of their points, but it just seems like they keep attacking certain people and harrassing all of their threads. The thing that scares me is that the people doing the harrassing are long time members here. They seem to have good, credible backgrounds with cannabis and michigan. But they just turn around and in every other thread dog the piss out of people. Especially people who seem to be "accepting donations" for their grows. They have this rediculously altruistic hippy view of the world and im just tired of it. Not everyone is as self sacrificing as you, get over it. Comments on a message board are not the reason we cant legalize marijuana. Take the stick out of your ass and calm down.

Im sorry, im just very frustrated. Had to vent :)

Let me know if ya'll notice this too. So im not totally crazy.

I was in michigan and I said hi to someone and he went berserk. Luckily I had an ubercharge on so I want fists and killed him. He was pretty angry

I've lived in multiple US states-

Michigan is one of the very few states I've been in where if you pass a stranger on the sidewalk you can say hi and they will say hi back.

The MMMP threads are politics. Different viewpoints on the same thing. Plus this is rollitup and with that comes a lot of hairline trigger tempers. Plus people are aggrivated at how we as patients are being treated from our own representatives.
Also, if you wanted to address the Michigan subforum, you should have put this in the Michigan subforum. Unless you were worried about people typing angry messages about you on the internet.

r1tony, why do you feel the need to interject in my threads.....please leave me alone. You post in all these threads, mine or otherwise, spouting off all this angry talk. I dont wanna hear it, as im sure much of the rest of the forum feels. Go away. I didnt say anything about who was doing the talking, so you just outed yourself and made yourself look like an ass.

Like i said before, just a vent. I dont expect anything to be done about these guys. Just voicing my 2 cents.

Well, I'm not from Michigan personally... nor have I ever been there. However, I have seen that show on the 'TruTV' channel... about that pawn shop that's up there. Anyone else know what show I'm talking about?

yeah, anyhow.. I've noticed that, there are a TON of angry people in Michigan. I think its due to the negative atmosphere and environment that Michigan sits in. Michigan is a very dirty state/place.. IMO, Michigan is even more dirty than New York.. and that's saying something. lol...

Actually, New York use to be an extremely dirty place.. but over the past 20 years or so they've really cleaned up their 'act' and gotten the state much cleaner than what it use to be. Like, back in the 70's... N.Y. was a very dirty place. But then again, so was Michigan!

But yeah, N.Y. is at least pleasant to live in... but Michigan, eh... Michigan is a completely different story. Michigan is just a nasty place IMO.

northern michigan is nice

its detroit and the entire metro area thats disgusting (flint, macomb, sterling heights, roseville all the others..)

I think you all are getting the detroit and flint area mixed up with the rest of Michigan. Those places might be dirty, but there are alot of parts of Michigan that are very nice. Especially the upper peninsula.

Detroit is Beautiful this time of year , was just fishing in the detroit river and after i unsnag my hook from the floating body , i caught a nice three eyed perch ;)

Agree. I have been in the Mid-Michigan and Detwat area. Both have their ghetto and their nicer suburbs, you just have to know where to avoid.

.....^^.....I used to deal with Les when his store was a fuckin hellhole...but he always had good deals on gold, that was 20 years ago though, I stay away from Downtown now unless it's for a concert or something...but some of the city is pretty nice now, they fixed it up for the Super Bowl a few years ago...and some parts are like a war torn 3rd world country...so it depends on where in Detroit you go.

First and formost i would like to talk about the guy who said michigan is a dirty place , well there pal i live in michigan and prolly ten other states in the last 12 years , it is not nasty , that is a rude presumtion giving people from michigan a bad name , i love living here and just cause the d is falling down dont make the rest of the state a hell hole , thats just rude , and second thats a tv show and there whole goal is to get rating so obviously they arent going to show him being a peacefull man or they would have no show , and where are you from whoever started this thread?

no its not just you, there is a lot of angry people here. Not because of what anybody said, just seems like they are pissed off at the world. most likely caused by lack of getting laid. lol

hey, i don't love ny but it gets a bad rep. only a small part of the state of ny is dirty, that's the outskirts of manhattan. manhattan itself can be dirty but it's actually one of the most affulent cities in the country, probably the most affulent. upstate ny is quite clean and beautiful. lots of untouched nature, green, waterfalls, mountains, trees. ny state isn't a big dirty suburban sprawl like people envision.

i've never been to mich but i wouldn't particularly want to live there. to me, too much work and too much cold wouldmake anyone miserable and nasty. that seems to be life in that area. ohio is pretty miserable too. i've been there and i would never live there in amillion years. midwest pretty much blows, though CO is nice. there are always exceptions but i can pretty much say that 45 out of the 50 states wouldn't be funt o live in. CA, PAc north west and hawaii r the only places id care to live. otherwise, i would get out of here and go to another country.
