I have just started my first grow and was just wondering if it is ok to grow in my windowsill....the sun is quite bright and sunlight is on the plant all day.
is it ok to grow indoors withh sunlight

if you have a south-facing window, you might be able to pull it off ..... that would probably be the best of both worlds ! make sure the window is clean and there are no bug screens on it to get the most out of the sunlight. oh yeah, and hope the mailman or neighbors don't happen to see it...

yeah its a south facing window, ill give it a goood old clean right now then :L and no worries about neighbours or postman, im on a fourth floor flat
so yeah hopefully it turns out all good, cheers.

just observe it and make sure it doesn't start to stretch like crazy. if it does, you might have to Low Stress Train it or Top it.. keep us updated.

Just google either one and you will get a good answer. LST is a little more than a quick answer. If you google them it will most likely bring you right back to RIU! LOL But you may want to get some CFL's to aid the sunlight on cloudy days. They are cheap to set up.

thanks mate very helpfull....just wondering..have you ever used an l.e.d bulb? if so are they any good?

LED's are the new thing now but like all new things, they have to be tried to be true. Never heard anything good about them nor know of anyone who has a conclusive answer about LED's. Try it out and tell us how it goes.

imma give the leds a miss i think :L urmmm yeah ive got two plants now...the second plant has shot up and is looking good.....BUT the first plant...well the leaves look "deformed" :L they arnt like the other plants leaves....not the right shape...but it may just be the strain i dont know any ideas? :/ btw the seeds are off a good stoner mate of mine...and yeah ill get some pics up when i find my phone cable -.- or when im not completely stoned....either way ill get some up

No shut the blinds and get a light. Of course its OK man anytime you can use the SUn use it. But just make sure it isn't facing the street so all of your neighbors can see.

believe me ive gone down to the street below to see if anyone can see in....but because of the angle its not possible to see in...if the sun isnt very bright i do stick it in my cubboard with a bulb....not sure what bulb it is but it seems to like it :L im a total tard when it comes to this but its just a bit of fun and learning for me....better than sitting and getting high with nothing to do...now ive got a project that can get me even more high win win
