Is it possible to grow STINKY weed indoors undetected?

Would you all recommend keeping a spare carbon filter on hand, in case the current one fails? They’re expensive but will a good carbon filter last an entire growth cycle?
Does anyone run a carbon filter on their fan intake AND out of the exhaust? Please excuse the n00bery, and the necromancy

If we're talking true Cheese or something like a road kill-esque skunk, in a residential house. You definitely need to:

Seal the room like your going to outer-space (all four surfaces).
As really smelly strains will seep through most walls, carpets, floorboards, ceilings, sealed chimneys and door frames.
Draft excluders on the room door (top and bottom) is a must too (unless the door fits to the frame with a 'push fit' *never the case*).
Maybe tins of Ona, strategically placed outside the room, would help with any unforeseen smell leaks.

The advice about carbon filters in previous posts is wise. Though I've never found it a 100% cure for pungent strains
Lines of defence, thats what you need ;)

I am a voice on the net. What if I say no? You must have a sounder way of deciding what to choose as true.
Isn't this the whole idea of a fucking online forum?!?! To bring together common ideas and help people?? LITERALLY.

Fucking armchair cannabis kings have to ridicule people who ask "the wrong question," or don't know their personal "string theory on the physics of pot." Shame on people for starting out and being curious.

Quit being a FUCKING CUNT and help out or shut up.

You have an unusual response to my pointing out the fact that I am anonymous and thus, op needs to work from study and not inappropriate trust.

Study is research. Research is inquiry. Inquiry is action. Maybe OP can have you over for dinner to remove some anonymity. Bullshit statement.

Aren't we all anonymous? You have a lot of work to do if asking for advice on a CANNABIS GROWING/USING forum calls for tedious wordplay.

This is good advice, thank you. Do I need to caulk the windows in the room shut? I’m gonna grab some Ona gel buckets.
It’ll be in a 4x4 tent with a 6” fan and carbon filter. I’ve decided not to run the strains I want, at first anyway, to get a feel for odor. Hopefully these gsc hybrids aren’t too bad

Your neighbors may not know but your visitors will notice.

I hope they all are not bad lol
Surely not, I’ve seen some great looking grows from both on this forum.
Someone I know grew 40 plants from greenhouse seed stock probably 10 years ago. It was honestly awful. Could have been grower error but it wasn’t potent, flavorful, or photogenic. Hopefully they’re better now than back then

i had to upgrade to a 60mm bed carboair recently to kill the smell, its huge and heavy but it does the job.

standard filters couldnt handle the smell of some of the real smelly strains when it hit the last week or 2.

Would you consider can-lite or phresh standard filters? I really don’t mind spending more money if there’s something more effective

Phresh is really nice. I tried a vivosun filter once, never again. Anyone try AC infinity filters?
I've tried several different filters. The China knockoffs are terrible at stopping highly smelly weed. Black Ops, AC Infinity, Terrabloom, Vivosun and a few others to name a few. Phresh stops EVERYTHING.

I don't know about the very expensive filters. I've never tried any 6" or 8" filters that cost over $200 each.
