hi i got a hydro plant that is too much hassle for me now because im so busy is it possible to take it back to just a potted plant? if so how?

It could probably be done. You would have to gently place the roots into soil and slowly fill the soil mix up around the plant.

fill a pot about half full...put your plant in and spread the roots wide as possible, you can touch them with your hands its not gonna hurt anything, then just full the pot the rest of the way and give it a good watering. its a plant that has been in hydro for its whole life, so its gonna use a lot of water the first week or so...then it will get used to its new home :)... i did this about 2 weeks ago and the plant is actually doing better than it did in hydro...haha

The roots that a plant MAKES/GROWS/USES for hydro are different that the roots a plant has in soil.. the difference is even more dramatic with soil vs aeroponics..

If you definley want to save this plant, you shouls take a clone or 2 or 6 for insurance..

ALSO.. make sure you soil mixture has a LOT of perlite... %50% .. this will ease the transition..


please tell us how the transition works out and what technique you used..
