Is it time to flower?

Started these two from seeds in April. They are about four months old, in a greenhouse with supplemental t5 light and a fan. I've been growing them in an organic soil mixture of two parts composted chicken manure, 1 part aged horse manure, and 1 part spent potting soil - same as my squash and tomatoes . . I topped both plants (haze hybrids) about a month ago and have super cropped one of them.

The super cropped plant just showed first signs of flowering. The upright one has not. Should I switch to 12/12 and start covering them at night? Switch to flowering nuts?

This is my first grow so I appreciate any suggestions.

Definitely ready for flip. That is a long time for veg if not doing a natural outdoor grow.

Thanks - I'm leaving the country for two weeks in a little over a month....will it be a disaster if my house sitter screws up the light from time to time? Maybe I should take the plants out of the greenhouse. I have a shed I could set them in and set a timer on artificial light ... What do you think?

Irregularities in your light schedule could cause your girls to hermie if you dont think your sitter will be able to provide the 12/12 id probably move it into the shed just to be sure!

Pick one or the other, inside on a timer or outside. I don't see them making it 2 weeks inside without water. I wouldn't flower that short one yet.

So can I just let nature take it's course? We've passed the longest day of the year, so the days are getting shorter. If I just keep them in the greenhouse will they bud and flower naturally the way they would if they were outside?

It doesn't matter where they are as far as flowering goes, what matters is the light cycle.

i would just let them flower outside naturally (or in greenhouse), as long as they don't get any artificial light contamination.
light contamination such as a "porch light" during dark period will definitely screw it up, so prevent that.
btw, just because you see preflowers doesn't mean it's flowering yet, it can do that in veg.
that tall one might run out of food, should have more soil in the pot or given nutes.

Go to the shed IMO I went on holiday for a week and left simple instructions came back to one of my plants full of ball (Hermeid) trust no one put them on a timer!!
