AND THE WAITING BEGINS, soon I will be camped out by the mailbox.....lol.. Dont think ive been this excited since the first time i fired up the lights....

1. Dinafem Blue Widow
2. Barney's Critical Kush
3.Bomb Cherry Bomb
4.Greenhouse Train Wreck
Trainwreck is very herm prone, be careful. It is the real cut, so we are told, but the real cut when S1`d spits out a lot of hermaphroditic plants and is itself susceptible to hermaphroditic tendencies when stressed.

Just an update folks.
I spoke with Jay at Alphakronik about my germing/sprouting misfortunes.
He is sending me a replacement order.
I thought everyone should know.
He apologized and said he stands by his product and they will get a replacement to me right away. (he said pronto)
I still don't know much about their gear, but he seems to have integrity.
I didn't ask him for replacement, he had asked if I would journal and track my progress.
I wrote him to say their would be no journal, because they had failed to sprout and I had moved on to the 91 Krypt and thanks anyhow.
He e-mailed me back the next day (yesterday) and apologized and said new seeds are on the way!
Maybe I will get some incentive beans.

This happened last year with Positronics also.
I had a 10 pack and only two popped.
I wrote them directly. (their english is not great, but makes for some funny e-mails)
After the usual "not for germination" conversation, They ended up sending me a replacement and 5 Cum Laude seeds for my trouble.
They mailed it from Spain in a plain brown envelope, no return address, just two breeders packs in an envelope.
I went on their facebook page a couple months later and posted some pics of my Jack Diesel grows from their gear and now I am on their friends list. (of course so are 1000s of other people)

My point is, if you have a bad experience with a breeder or something....Take the time to let people know when a company has fixed a problem, not just when they upset you.

Please don't take this wrong!
You may be a great person I'd like to have as a friend?
Truth is you are NAIVE

Even if you had a perfect environment for growing you are missing a basic fact of life.

Advertisements attempt to dazzle you with brilliance or baffle you with bullshit!!!

On this planet there is no such thing as truth in advertisement.
No offense taken. Well ok,a little...
I would not consider myself naive. Im just do not have a lot of knowledge when it comes to seeds. Its very new and foreign to me. I think naive would be to see the advertisement take it a face value and buy them. NOT what I am doing by taking the time to learn about them, researching them, learn what is should and should not expect, then making an informed purchase. Yes we probably could be great friends, seeing as how I am always explaining to my friends how they are wrong.....haha

Thanks for the heads up. I will keep a watchful eye.

So what's he going to do, send some more beans that got go pop? Umm, no thanks.. integrity? How about making a half way decent product where more than half don't germ and I won't need to contact you about what beans I paid good money for..
I went down this same road w jay from alpha, and after many months of waiting for replacements I got tired of waiting and lost it and told him to keep his crap genetics.. he wasn't impressed by my rudeness, nor was I impressed with his gear nor service..

Thanks for the heads up. At least the lip service was good.
I'll will hold back reservations as to their arrival.

I am still learning my way around trusted breeders, consistent germ rates and such.
I have already moved on to another pack of beans, so his gear will get pushed back several months now.
I wish there was a thread or collection of data that we could use to compile germination percentages, service levels, truth in genetics.
I know there are reputable breeders out there, it's just that many here will tout the praises of a specific breeder while on the same thread others will claim it's crap.
I keep a grow log. Germ dates, sprouting dates, how many popped.
I have only used around 10 breeders however so my results would not be considered a wide sampling by any means.
Say you had unlimited resources... who would you trust for your next order Racerboy?
I am going to be purchasing again this week. Because of requests, I would like to add a fruity strain to my line-up.
I do not care for fruity strains, but I am considering one of the grapefruit lines.
I am thinking of trying Sannies this time. I want Killing Fields but am being persuaded to go fruity.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
I am not asking readers here to offer fruity suggestions, just what breeder would you order from if you could pick any one of them and had a couple hundred bucks to do so.
