is multiple plants in the same pot a bad idea

I grow in a small tent and I wanted to do a SOG grow for maximum yield but i was wondering if I would be better off putting 3 or 4 clones from a mother plant in each of the 2 pots or grow 1 big plant in each of the 2 pots?

i could buy multiple small pots and put 1 clone in each but then I have to spend extra $

some people say growing multiple plants in the same pot is a bad idea so just wondering what you guys think is best?

SOG was single stems in single access points according to Mr. Rosenthall. And hydro based.

I suggest dividers in the pots. And honest SOG. Plants fight below ground. All will lose out.

Could be difficult to control nutrients like that. It's possible but it would make more sense to do seperate pots and give the roots lots of room to grow.

deff one clone per pot, if you know how to, you can grow very decent plants from clones in smaller pots. if you keep the nutes on the low side and feed more offten with plane water in between feeds.
but if you feel the need to try it, then go ahead. you can only do one of two things, 1 fuck it up or two, suport a few plants/clones in a larger pot. you will learn either way

Even if all goes well, you’d just end up hitting the container’s maximum capacity with two plants instead of one. In other words, even without problems, you’d just be getting the same yield off of 2 plants instead of 1 bigger one.

It's fine if we are talking about a proper bed of soil, like 4 plants in a 4x4 bed is fine, but that's around 30 gallons of soil each, of course, some plants are more aggressive rooters than others.

Those bags are about worthless they’re inconsistent and don’t put out enough to be worth the money. now why put some many tiny plants in a 5x5 is beyond me. You can do better yield wise with four plants in that space.

Plants root different in ground type enclosures. Most stay within a few of radius from the stem if allowed proper spacing. You can plant only as many as actually room to reach underground.

Learn to grow roots people. Mad multiplier in my yields of all plants.

Best grow to all regardless of approach. Although a grimace to synthetics without malice.

Agreed! I did it for my first grow and was extremely successful! I also took 4 years of intense agriculture in high school! We had the biggest program in the state, 3 greenhouses, an apple orchid and a few livestock! I spent a majority of my time in out tomato greenhouse where I learned a lot of useful knowledge!

Here is my second grow in the same coolers I bought and cut some holes and put net pots in! GDP and NYC Diesel!20210417_135946.jpg

If you want alot of plants in limited space, consider get some tall sqaured pots and still keeping lateral size down.

I dont know if it has any relevance to your problem and ofc cost alittle. good to have tho if you like sog
