Is my plant messed up ?

Hey guys, so this is my first grow ever , magic melon auto, coco coir , general hydroponics nutrition, cal mag etc . The plants are about 1 month old and seem very small..not only that but theyre eveb starting to flower . I just repotted it into a bigger pot to grow more. Is it messed up ?

It's stunted for sure and now that it's flowering in won't veg anymore and is basically in the end game already.

Yep. Needed more care during the veg phase to amount to anything decent. Also looks like you topped it too late. Autos are unforgiving in that if you don't give them optimal conditions your end result will lack. They are not for first time growers. That's not to say no one new can do it it's just much easier to grow a photoperiod if you make mistakes you just tack on some veg time to make up for it. With autos there is no adding time. If they aren't happy, they won't grow fast and they will flower early. Live and learn! You can still get something half decent out of it. Just don't expect to fill any jars or bags.

What do you guys think was my problem? One thing I didn't start doing until alot later was ph balancing the water?
Also how big should a plant be for one month old at this point ?
Or maybe I kept it in too small a container for too long ..messed it up. Would be too late to start another auto at this point wouldn't it be ?

What was your light situation? I might also simply go with soil next time. Keep it simple. I’ve successfully repotted and topped autos, but the less change the better. Try starting them in their finishing pots, and rather than topping, use low stress training. Don’t know why they’re stunted. Lack of light or lack of proper nutrients? A good soil would solve the later in their first month of the grow or so. Too much change with too little time to recover, perhaps. Autos don’t stop their journey.

I know nothing about auto's, but your coco looks awfully dry. Coco needs to be watered daily, preferably to runoff, with nutes in every watering, and yes the Ph needs to be kept between 5.5-6.5. When conditions are right they grow like crazy in coco. GH are good nutes and what I am using now.

But anyways, next time will be better....Maybe try a bag of good quality soil and you can still use nutes once you get into flower, and won't require the constant feeding. But coco is great....I've just switched to it and I'm loving it.

The problem may be the light. I don't have any indoor lights , so once the weather got warm enough to keep them outside I keep them out there all day long . Still maybe not enough light?

Where did you get your seeds? I grew out a Magic Melon Auto as well from Happy Bird Seeds. Here is the grow journal.

Will these guys grow any bigger at this point or is that how big they will stay now ?

How long they been flowering? After the first week or two of exponential pistil growth it won't grow anymore, just densen the buds.

I'd say it's been about a week for that plant

Not much if any substantial growth tbh. The buds will get you high at least.

Hahah ! Damn it. I'll have to give give this another go sometime. For outdoor this summer I guess too late now. Maybe have to go a good budget light for a couple plants. Any recommendations know budget for like 3 or 4 plants ?

Depends on the tent size you will be running.
