yes ofc you can mate. If just starting out with seeds, they will be sustained for 2months with tha organics that are in the mix. only way you will burn you seedlings if you add nutes to it, remember clear water for first 2moths if your using ffof

ocean forest is a bit hot for seedlings from what i've read...I just use peat pucks for seedlings...then transfer into a topsoil+perlite mix in a small pot...let that grow out for a couple weeks...then transfer that into my final pot + soil mixture that has the real nutes in it :)

FFOF burned my Critical mass and my Blue mystic that I was growing in 5 gallon smart pots. I yanked the plants, added some perlite and a brick of coco and re mixed the soil and now my Pink champagne crossed with Afghan Kush clones are looking good.

I would not use Ocean forest for seedlings, and as with the guy above it burnt some of my plants when PH went south. Ocean forest caused me alot of problems from now on it will only be an amendment to large batches of soil mix. I would not recomend it as a stand alone potting soil for anything.

Sounds like FFOF should be diluted with any other unfertilized organic medium for seedlings.

ive been using it for clones and seedlings but i do start my seedling in jiffy pellets and i also will mix the ffof with happy frog or just use the happy frog itself to start them in its no wheres near as hot as the ocean forest just remember with organics the plants have to break down the nutrients so dont add any extra for a while then when you do start at 1/4 or 1/2 strength at most

Not really, i have read so much different reply's & i have known of a few people to use FFOF for seedlings without any issues, without it being diluted etc. Just DO NOT feed for 2months or until you see the plants shouting out to be fed,

I guess its up the OP to make a decision for himself, as your going to read nothing but mixed reply's.

Seems to me the majority are suggesting either differnt products or heavy additives. I suggest both I have always used HF for my grows 3:1 with inert perlite. Never had a seedling poop out on me, never had any nute issues of any kind. Just my .02
