is there a cheaper replacement for milwaukee combo probe SE600?

i know there are some people here who buy the $5 pH electrodes for benchtop meters from the dozen from alibaba

i love my milwaukee MW802 combo meter but teh SE 600 probes dont last for shit even when stored properly in KCl the pH meter lasts less than year. i even see other amazon users saying the same in comments.

ive had oakton double junction pH meters last me YEARS when kept clean so i know its possible

is there a cheaper combo probe with the 7-pin binder connector? hell ill even make a custom adapter cable if i can find a cheap combo probe thats electrically compatible

I musta got lucky or something because my shitty little five dollar yellow noname brand pen still works perfectly and I've calibrated it only once.

You might try a double junction probe like the SE2200. That uses a BNC connector, but you could just splice on the connector from your old probe, or make the adapter.

I don't like combo meters, but I love my MW102!

yes you did, I have purchased several of those, many are way out right out of the box and cannot be calibrated, i have compared 3 new ones against each other all calibrated and they all read very differently. They cannot be trusted.

I like the blue lab pens. They last a long time if you keep the probe wet.

I have also used the cheapo yellow pens with varying success.

The worst I ever had was an expensive milwaukee bench model that needed calibration daily and took a long time to stabilize on a reading.
