For best results, Seeds should be keep in a airtight sealed container or packaging (ideally) whether they are to be kept at room temp or in a freezer, and should be protected from light, and should have a barrier between the seeds and the surrounding air to avoid fast temperature changes, as this can damage seeds also.
(Rule of thumb for all seeds, a cool & dark place is recommend and ideal for preservation)
Adding moisture absorbers of any kind is a plus, as others have stated : rice, desiccant, etc. Ideally a dryer climate would be better before the seeds are even sealed, someone may be able to simulate this by using dehumidifier or other method of removing all the humidity as close to 0% as possible before the first seal is even made, as the first seal should contain as little air and moisture as possible.
If I was putting mine in a freezer I would have multiple layers/barriers of moisture proof containment around the seeds, bags, make up containers, capsules, small plastic herbal medicine bottles work good w/ air tight seal, I'd use all of these in combination & then double freezer bag seal the whole container/ containers off.
Possibly even multiple layered vacuum sealing if you want to go extreme with it.
Cheers.
