Iam looking for a way to make a little reflector or lamp shade type thing for my ML 400w. What kind of materials do I need to buy? Should I get them all at Home Depot? And how much do you think it will run up to be ($$)? This is going to be my first grow, so help me out!!
thanks

If you insist on making one, find a slab of thin 1/8' aluminum and bend the middle at 140 degree angle and then in the middle again on ech side

tinfoil is bad it makes hot spots and is a fire risk. also it does not reflect the light like you think it does. mylar or flat white paint is best.

DO NOT USE TIN FOIL..."ALUMINUM FOIL" JUsT LIKE DANKFORALL SAID..IT MAKES HOT SPOTS, AND REFLECTS THE LIGHT AT OBLIQUE ANGLES...that is what i learned from george cerventas ultimate grow dvd! just pick up some mylar its not that expensve!

I have been using aluminum foil for two years and never a burn spot. It would need a parabolic shap to burn your plant and a wrinkle isn't going to forum that so IMO aluminum foil burning a plant is a MYTH as it hasn't happened to me. PEACE
