some of the parts of one of my plant has purplish stem and i dont know which family it belongs to.

it was long time ago i dont remember what type of seeds i have ordered. but as i remember right, it must be newyork diesel or white widow or maybe purple kinds...

does anyone know what type of cannabis plants have purplish stem? (i do not mean its pistil or leaf )
just the stem is purplish and the plant started to flower 2 days ago. so it is so new to see if it will have purple leaves...

i no that some types of seeds or strains have purple stems when they grow but its really theres not much chance someone can tell what plant u mean by what u say really but good luck :D

any plant can have purple stems, its a nutrient issue
I agree but dont think it always points to nute problem. Some strains I am sure have this as a trait but its nothing to be alarmed about, as mentioned any plant can show purplish stems on some or all

can also have something to do with temps. what are they btw? lower temps often lead to purpl-ing. buut like speedy and super said, could b nutes or genetics (phenotype)

a picture is worth 1000 words btw...so cmon :D
let us see what we r talking about.
its like talking about god...if i cnt see something, how will i know?

A genetics issue. When you get one plant with purple stems out of several, all of which have been given exactly the same nutes and kept at exactly the same temperature, can´t be anything else.

I took a potted Purple Dream that was nearly dead, it had purple all over it (purple strain) When I planted it in ground and revived it nearly all the purple went away. I think some strains will produce purple stems/leaves/buds ect.
I read on here(dont know if its fact) but if its purple on the bottom side of a stem its a nutrient diff, if on top strain genetics. Dont take that as fact but worth checking into.

i heard purple stems can also come from cold temps

i dont think anyone could tell you your strain... maybe a chance of a good guess when its at the end of its flowering period though try posting a pic
