Is this a magnesium deficiency?

Hi all, need some help to see if this is a mag deficiency. I'm running kind hot soil with distilled water. This is an autoflower. It's droopy and you can see one of the bottom leaves yellowing pretty good. New growth also not looking green enough for my liking. Thanks!

I'm not an expert by any stretch of the imagination. But I do believe the lighter color growth is just where it's starting to flower. I mean, all my autos did that at the bud sites, but not to that degree. Both those are some pretty dark green leaves too, so it may be a little hard to judge in comparison.

Also, I swear plants droop sometimes. I'd almost swear they sleep. Though I'd be tempted to think that plants drooping because it's time to water it. What strain is that? How old is it?

It's kind of hard to tell but are your bigger fan leaves as blue in person as they look on my phone?

Yellowing on mainly bottom leaves first can mean watering issues as well as nitrogen deficiency. If your watering had been good I would lean towards nitrogen but I am no expert.

There is no way he has a nitrogen deficiency with how dark those leaves are.

I think watering is ok because it's been doing this for a little while and even after I water it.

It's supposedly Jack Herer Auto and it's from crop king seeds. It's been about 45 days since it sprouted from the soil but barely showing preflowers. I hope it's actually an auto lol

They're definitely dark green but I did have the flash on when I took that pic so maybe that's why it looks like that?

The new growth leaves are also pretty soft/tender but not dry or papery. I'm not sure what that means in terms of plant health

Looks all good.. few burnt tips which would suggest you do have a hot mix.. one yellow leaf at the bottom is nothing to worry about imo. Keep going with the water for a while to cool down the mix. Is it growing fast? New leaves have always started pale for me, they just don't have a tan yet.

Ps, it's not growing that fast... That's at 45 days from soil.. I'd say it's not growing slow but definitely not fast

Yeah pretty small for 45 days eh... Looks like it's just had a hard time, might have suffered some root burn in the early days.. I always see auto's look like this though they seem to never recover when stunted early on. Sorry I don't have any suggestions other than just keep pushing on and see if any of the symptoms develop further.

If I we're a betting man, (which I am) I would wager, that a quality PH probe in that soil would read below 6....
Most of my "deficiency" problems were proven to be a result of soil PH falling under the optimal zone, caused by keeping the medium too wet, leading to an imbalance in micronutrient availablility…...

Thanks chip... I've suspected the same and I do have a cheap ph meter that I DO NOT trust but it's reading about 6.0.... I think the actual ph might be lower though. I also did one of these soil tests that indicates about 6.0 but these are so hard to read...

Should I water with some organic Ph up?

What medium are you using exactly? What, if anything, have you been feeding it? How often do you water and in what amounts? size of pot? type of light? temps/humidity?

So it's organic super soil. Kind hot soil. I've been watering it only when needed, meaning I only water when the pot feels light and the top 2 inches of the soil are dry. 3 gallon fabric pot and 1000 watt MH bulb. Temp is about 75 and humidity about 40%

Oh... And the top half of the soil is promix HP. Bottom half is the super soil

1000 mh for that seems like a lot but I use LEDs, can anyone chime in?

1000 watt is a lot of light, but not overkill depending on tent size and number of plants
