Is this a mutation

If so is it a bad or good one. I planted 18 plants and out of them 4 have this weird leaf structure. The fan leafs come in abundance but they’re small and they tend to not spread out and have a wrinkly look to them ever since they sprouted. Reason I’m asking is one pheno has caught my eye and I would love to make a mother plant out of it. Is it wise to make a mother plant with such a weird leaf structure? 77F279A7-AE52-4EDB-9166-551E2F204ABF.jpegE93A1714-DD38-4D2B-A3BC-7D0FC1234C0F.jpeg37524B4B-ED98-4AB8-AD8B-4B39DA9E74F7.jpegAEE613CD-F035-45D9-B388-BBA3B6ED914A.jpeg

I think it's just a hang up plants develop. You know how humans can become diabetic? ...i think at very young age the plant is permanently affected by high nitrogen...i think. That's the only time i see this, in high nitrogen pots i mess up when mixing off-batch.

Would it be suitable to make a mother or keep trying?

I’ve had leaves look like that from a boron deficiency if I recall. It was due to lock out from high ph during a hydro grow and my cheap ph pen decided to throw me off for a bit. I don’t know if that’s your issue but something to look into.

It's still just a phenotypic expression. It's gona be a lower yield but SUPER frosty, mark my words.
Out of my 18 plants the ones that have those leafs are FROSTED compared to the ones that don’t. I have 3 strains and luckily I have one of each to do this. Each one I wanna motherplant cause of their smell and frost. Yield on the other hand is slightly lower on them but one of them is packing almost a stupid amount of buds. Will be a heavy yield. I feel like knowing that yield will be slacking I could prob top again in hopes of filling more space out to make up for the yield if I mother.

Yep, the extra frost also indicates OGKB-leaner. They're notorious for lower yield but the smoke will be phenomenal

I would love to make a mother plant out of it.
Does that mean ur going to reveg plant after harvest?
I would take some cuttings when u lollipop. U should get a bunch of clones off her, then monster crop the clones. It will increase the yield. They grow bushy even without topping.
Most (or alot) of the truly exotic strains are low yielders but the trade off for great unique taste and beautiful flowers is worth it.
