Lights led
Env tent
Rh 45%
Medium coco In 7 ltr fabric pots
Dtw watered 7 times in the first half of the day
Ph in is 6
Ph out is 5.4
Week 7
Ec is at 1.8

Started to see this... I think it might have been ph drift or maybe not achieving run off enough...

Woukd you guys feed more or back off?

They sure look frosty. PH going in might be low if your runoff is 5.4. But it seems close enough to not be the cause. Seven times a day? If it is rot, then maybe back off on the watering. Less could end you up with more. From this chart it looks like phosphorous or iron def. Could be a lock out. I would bump up the phosphorous and ph to 6.2. Maybe a banana peel tea?

I think 1.8 EC 7 times a day is a bit much as well. I water 4-5 times daily in a 50/50 coco/perlite mix but the perlite adds a lot of drainage and aeration. If your in straight coco watering 3 times a day should be sufficient.

In coco.... very unlikely to be root rot. 7 times isn't actually that much as my drippers are slow.

I agree with @HydoDan ...

EC of 1.8 seems quite high. +1 for lowering to 1.2

Ph for coco is 5.5 to 6.5 right? +1 for raising it.
1.2 seems very low to me. I give seedlings and cuts 1.2. I'm using hard water so there is an high ec in the base water. I had moved it down to 1.5 for 3 days and it seemed to get worse... so might just be that my timings are off... in that I'm reading the. 3 days later takes more time for these things to show.

Ah ok you use drippers. Now we're getting some more useful info! Do you get runoff and how much and after how long time after you started the watering sequence? Does it get watered through a ring or through one single hose?

Sounds more like a salt buildup problem to me now from not cycling the medium fast or thoroughly enough.

Think your diagnosis is close phos or fe. I'm gonna go a little higher on the ph and reduce the booster

Each pot has 3 skate drippers... im not sure about run off. I'm gonna increase the length of each water to get more run off tho... if the ph is too low this might make it more stable and bring it back up.

This is likely an issue.... thanks for the tip... last few days I have hand watered as I had the same thought.
