Is this enough Direct Sunlight?

So my question is, I have 2 spots im looking at digging some holes but not sure if its gonna be getting enough direct sunlight. From 9am-1:15pm its straight sunlight. After that its prob 50%-25% sunlight due to trees and what not till around 6:30-7pm. Will this be enough sunlight for them to grow in? Thanks for the help!!!

Obviously more sunlight is better. I've seen some on here say you need at least 4,5,6,7......hours.
I have a grow going and I think I get around 6. My plants are doing good so far.
The less sunlight, the less the yield.
But, if you can't grow anywhere else, it will be more than you'll get if you don't grow at all.

yeah these last 2 spots are about the best I can do. Gotta keep things low key in the yard :(

Just what I wanted to hear! Im thinking it will be enough light but wanted to see if anyone else had some success without alot of hours of direct sunlight.

Im mid summer heat of 105-110' The plants in the shade do much better here.
Years of mowing under the tramoline an under the small trees around here has proven this to me.

Mine are in camo cages I make up an get 3-4 hrs direct light, the rest indirect.
This will also help hold water in the ground, witch means less watering trips.

my plants outdoors are pretty shaded by all the redwoods and they get 4 hours of direct at best and they seem to be doing great!

Yeah temps are gonna reach 100+ for prob 2-4 weeks during mid july-august. so glad to hear this. 4 of my plants will prob be direct sunlight during these higher temps while the 2 spots im worried about enough lighting will be indirect during this time. So I think these spots will work perfectly! Thanks for the info

Awesome!! Thanks for your info! I think my first grow is gonna turn out decent as long as I dont screw up the nutes :-?

BTW: Since Im trying for all organic, you outdoor peeps have any suggestions for some good organic nutes that you've used before?? Both Veg and Flowering.

On a less positive note, I wouldn't expect the buds to be very dense. They will more than likely be a bit light but I'm not necessarily growing for the yield. It's a hell of a lot of fun either way. As far as nutes, I'm trying a free sample of the general organics line and it seems to be doing okay. You may want to give them a try. Not the best from what I hear, but it was free for me =P

Oh, one more thing- I raised mine under a few 6500k florescent lights and as soon as they started spending time outside they exploded. Conclusion- any amount of direct sun is usually better than insufficient indoor lighting.

check out my video journal link in my sig to see my cages i use for shade an protection. Ive lost several plants trying to perfect the design. Rabbits, deer gophers, an mice all attacked.

But i think i got em figured out.

Im also using Miracal Moisure control, water absorbing polymers, mulch an deeproot watering to extend watering to every 2 weeks right now, an about once a week im mid summer heat (i hope).

I'm using Botanicare Pure Blend Pro Grow formula and it seems to be working great. Plants are about 6 weeks old and didn't start feeding until i moved them outside about 3-4 weeks ago. The only problem so far is that it is a liquid nute and since it's been so wet here lately I haven't been able to feed like I wanted to.
