Is this enough light to flower under?

I'm going to build 2 different units. One for growing Indicas and the other to grow Sativas, both on a screen of green. Will these 2 units produce enough light to flower without any problems?Lights.jpg

Do not use 5000k in any ratio for a flower light. It only inhibits your maximum potential.
I can see some benefit from a little more blue on a strictly saliva run just to minimize stretch, if it would even help. But as far as your drawing, ditch the boards. If you're going to use strips, use strips.
If you're going to use boards, use boards. Mixing them will only lessen the evenness in spread.

Will 1 QB648 be enough for a 3 X 3? And will 2 be enough for a 4 X 4?

Wow you got the hook. Those boards are super new. You must have bough them first day of release?

I cant find the max current , even on the data sheet. But they should be similar to normal boards.

I would be using 4 per tent . Just use a 320w driver in the 3x3 and probably 2x xlg-240 drivers in the 4x4, one per two boards.
Unless you want more light then either a single xlg150 per board or hlg320 per two boards.

If you have 8 boards is there a reason your trying to only use 3 of them ?

You could get away with two boards in the 3x3. I would prefer 4 boards so I could be closer and run softer for higher efficiency and have more even spread.
 
Here's what is suggested... a 3 X 3 with (4) QB648's.

It's hard to teach an old dog, new tric... phuck that! It's just hard to teach an old dog.
This isn't my first go around. With every other method of lighting it seems "blue is grow & red is flower".
It's hard to get used to "full spectrum lighting" and "1 light dose it all, start to finish"
Will adding additional blue during vegetation and red during flowering do anything substantial or am i just worried about something that doesn't exist20200419_080704_resized.jpg?

According to HLG: Max current per QB 648+ board is "5000mA @ 56+VDC."

Although it also says this on the same page: "Max Current in most applications will be limited by thermal performance of heatsink."

Slate 2 heatsinks are still sold with the QB 648+ boards. They were rated for 100-150 watts with the QB 288.

I'm pretty sure they will fire up a pair these. I'm only growing a 3 X 3 area... not trying to light up the driveway at night. I'm going for quality, performance, economy, cooler temps and closer distances more than BLARING BLINDING LIGHT.
