It will be my first time growing, gonna start the organic way. I will be using a 1000 watt MH/HPS in a soil/perlite medium. I don't know how big I want to grow them yet, but was wondering if these nutes would be enough for feeding my plants...

What kind of duct fans are you using?what kind of hood are you using?what kind of soil/perlight and what strains will you be growing?
I will be using one 6 inch vortex fan, a Adjust A Wing Reflector Medium, I am planning on getting Fox farm ocean forest soil, iunno what kind of perlite, and haven't picked out the strain yet. Oh yeah, it will be grown in a secret jardin 120 tent.

well since i am not getting a reply from you i will break it down for you, first of all with your thousand light you should be running at least 12 plants flipping trhem into flowering at 12 inches, second you need to be running an 8inch inline duct fan to suck the heat off of that big hot bulb and out of your grow room, third screw advanced nutes to many parts its confusing and for a first grow it is setting you up for failure. go get some mendo mix coco, a bag of fox farm ocean forest and a bag of some coco called tepur, mix them evenly together then go pict of the cns 17 grow, bloom, hydroplex and sweet follow the feeding schedules, keep that light at least 1 ft and a half to 2 and a half feet from your canopy or you will burn your plants. Have fun and happy growing :-)

Jesus I hit the side button on my mouse right before I was going to enter...

Time to type it again. :P

Thank you for your input blink1821984. Thing is I need the tent for a few reasons, and the AN is only three parts so it aint that confusing. :P Also I just found out that Canada can't get fox farm soil.

Fox Farms soil is over rated in my opinion. Sunshine organic mix works well with AN products. There are no nutes in Sunshine so you will be responsible for feeding the plants. You don't need to add anymore to the mix except your choice of nutes.

Mother Earth tea products made by AN are meant as a organic tea supplements to a feeding regiment. Not necessarily meant to run as a stand alone nutrient, although AN claims it can be done. And that a decent crop can be had. According to info on www.discountan.com when using as a base nutrient application recommendations on the label should be multiplied by 2-4 times.
Consider adding Big Bud and or Carboload or Bud Candy.

How about trying the Sunshine Advanced mix? Also, I think the tents are hands down the best way to go if you can afford it. Screw a room. The environmental conditions are so easy to control in a tent, not to mention how easy it is to take down and put back up. Apparently Blink has never used one. The three part has all the base and micro nutrients you need for veg and flower, so you'll be fine with what you've got. Nirvana is a nice little additive. I would personally recommend Hammerhead or Bud Factor X as an extra while in flower. Oh, and never trust how far away somebody says to hang the hood over the canopy. Use your own judgment. Too hot for you is too hot for the gals. Hope I helped.

dude just go out and buy pro mix and some cow manure, even peatmoss, mix it 1/4 bag of cow manure , 1/4 bag of peatmoss, and 2 bags of promix,

then find a hydroponic shop find some veg nutes chances you will find Zeta A and B or Optimum A-B you will also need some superthrive for root growth, and to help for stress, look for Humex, magic cal, and green

week 1 add Grow nutes A - B 1 mill per 1lt
magi cal 5 mill per 4 lt
humix 5 mil per 1 lt
green 3 mil per 1 lt
super thrive 2 mil per 4 lt

week 2 same thing but add on your growing nutes 1 extra mil

week 3 same as week 2 but with the greens spray on leafs in the dark ( Foilage )

start your plants with low ph like 6.2 to 6.5 by 3rd week 6.8 and maintain 6.8 through out and you will do great
hope this helps

I think this nute lineup will work just fine for you, though it seems you already know that.

Right now, I'm running the Sensi A&B bundle - Hobbyist.

I find it's working really well for me to use a bundle instead of choosing products separately. Of course, this might just be that I'm lazy. ;)

Happy New Year all and keep growing strong...
