Hey guy, I just wanted to get someone else's take about my light distance. I just started useing my 460 watt spider farmer ledd and for a few days everything seems ok and they're still growing but I'm seeing this scaley look to the newer leaves and wanted to know what's up. I'm almost positive it's light burn but also I picked up this cheep light meter and wanted to know about what my range should be on itt? I've had my light about a ft away and the light meter at about 6 to 700. Thank guys.

My bad.. yeah I've dialed the lightt down, it was mostly on just one plant with the new leaves. I mostly wanted to know about the meter and what the range should be. I assume it measures lumens though it doesn't say on the package it came in. It just says measures light. (Like I said, cheap)

I don't see anything wrong with that plant. Can't help you with the light meter. I don't bother with them.

I use a light meter that I bought off Amazon to dial in my HID lighting. I found it very useful, especially for under 30 dollars. I realized that I was too close in many instances.

I believe you will need a par meter to measure LED. I could be wrong, but you’re in the $100+ range for one of those.
