Yeah I would remove the worst affected areas. Maybe spray down the leaves with some water and try to remove as many manually as you can. I wouldn't spray any chemicals on em this late in the game. Are the plants outdoors? Or is there an open window or something? Or perhaps a pet brought them in?

If you can afford to start over, I might consider it based on how bad the infestation is, or how much it grosses you out personally. Up to you. But first eliminate however those bugs got in there.

Thrips is what it looks like to me fucckkkkkckckckckckc
it could be, in that case you should be able to find an adult thrip somewhere on a leaf for confirmation. I've had thrips. twice actually. Once I knowingly accepted a plant with thrips because i wanted the genetics. Thrips are no biggie. next time, you wanna spray some spinosad/insecticidal soaps during veg so they don't get out of hand during flower. At this point, its going to be a struggle.

Usually thrips leave more sporadic scarring on the leaves tho, not all around the base like that. But it certainly could be.

If it's thrips there's going to be stages as said before. Also thrips damage doesn't flake off as they suck the chlorophyll from the leaves and they're usually speckled all over the leaves. I'd kill the bugs as best you can either way.

I will get to looking, cross my fingers it's not but the little bugs I saw with loupe look very similar been doing research ever since I found em. I will definitely be taking precautions in the future.

Sticky traps can help. Cleaning the space. Organic people like to add lady bugs(not even kidding). There are other options too. Keeping you space clean helps, lysol helps.
What is your grow space?
