With what?
there are lots of posts on here for different remedies. some use milk or peroxide mixes. be careful what you use into flower. i like pure crop 1. i would spray everything, maybe start with that one and see what happens. be sure to do it as the lights go off. i would spray everything, surfaces etc. if you can use bleach on everything except for the plants. you may want to use anything affected for edibles instead of smoke if you cant get rid of it or there isnt enough time.

I'd salvage any buds I could....looks like it's been progressing for quite a while......really helps detecting that shit early. Take your losses. For pm I use Banish fungicide.....I've only had to use it 3 times.....beautiful results. I've always used it at the very first sign of pm. The product is a geranium oil extract.

Oh man! The white areas on the leaves. Are the buds toast now? If I remove this leaves what else should I do! Segregation of the plant?
That's pretty advanced PM. I'd rinse everything with 2.5 tsp citric acid per quart water as foliar. Literally let it drip off the leaves. Don't use anything like Purecrop1.

Purcrop1 is 15% vegetable oil. The rest is mostly water, then emulsifiers, citric acid, and soap as a surfactant. You don't want that on a plant that far along in flower. The active ingredient is the citric acid. The rest is basically just a carrier. Any residue from citric acid is easily washed of in just a water bath. The same can't be said for oils.

Yes, you may be able to harvest many buds,PM free. I've had to make that choice befote.....get something or nothing.....the buds looked pretty well developed....I've never washed. The process looks sketchy.......my gut says f that.......I don't think smoking washed PM weed sounds very appetizing. I go over my plants with finetoothed comb constantly looking for trouble....so important to hit problem at very onset.....my digital scope, up to 200x helps me a lot......my son would say to me " what did you learn "........good luck

Just get any "Food Grade" citric acid. You can get 5 pounds of Milliard for $22.95 on Amazon. That will last a hell of a long time and it has many uses around the home as well.

But if you need it right now you can BALL canning citric acid which can probably be found at Walmart or other supermarkets. It's just costs more.

can I spray the buds too or just the leaves? Should I just cut off and dump any buds I see with the mildew? sometimes its on the sugar leaves or fan leaves but in very close proximity to the bed
thanks @xtsho

Spray everything then if possible get a fan on the plants to dry them off after letting it sit for 15 minutes. Keep them dry after that. You have some serious PM going on. Next year you need to do some preventative measures to prevent it. It's better to prevent it than treat it once you have it. Kind of like wearing a condom instead of catching something that's going to be with you for the rest of your life. That's a disgusting analogy but it works.

You better check out the products of combustion regarding citric acid...
I've been using citric acid for years without any issues at all. I've spent years reading labels and then making my own mixes that are similar to commercial products and are just as effective. There is no need to pay for expensive commercial products. If you look at these commercial products they're mostly water. It's the active ingredient you want which you can mix with water yourself for pennies.

Citric acid is much safer than much of the other stuff people spray on their plants. That's why it's used in products like NukEm and Dr Zymes that are both OMRI listed and used by many cannabis growers up until the day of harvest.

I also was interested in that Banish product you mentioned. It's 16.7% Geraniol and the rest is water. I can purchase enough pure Geraniol for $85 to make almost 2 gallons at the same concentration of Geraniol that's in Banish. They want over $500 for a gallon of Banish. I'm sure it works but I don't pay those prices. I might just buy a small bottle of pure Geraniol to experiment with. My only concern would be possible taste changes in cannabis if used late in flower as as one of the main uses of Geraniol is in cosmetic products as a fragrance ingredient. I guess I'll just have to experiment to find out.

2 ounces for 30 bucks............you use 0.5mls for 16 ounces , enough to spray quite a bit of surface area.......the 2oz bottle makes 15 gallons. An easy choice for me....spend a little save a shitload. Does citric acid actually kill PM or is it a preventative that slows spread down. By the way, you grow a lot of great plants, good pics!

The citric acid will kill PM as well as most remedies and better than some. I'm not going to say other options don't work better but what is in those other options?

Plus citric acid has other uses. If you're doing hydro citric acid can be used as a disinfectant. It can be used as a pH adjuster. It can be used as a natural "Pet Safe" cleaner around the home.

I'm glad you posted about Banish because it caused me to look into the product and then identify the active ingredient. Geraniol is extremely Bee safe so it's something I'm going to start experimenting with outdoors. Geraniol actually attracts bees.

I'm a big "Save the Bee's" guy. Doing what I can.

Great kicking things around , I'll have to take another look at citric acid combustion. What I remember was potential for formation of hazardous volatiles.Take care fellow stoner, we will be "seeing" you around.
