I have a 4 site rdwc in a 5x5 tent. I’m growing all 4 the same (MSNL white widow max auto). They are week 7. In the tent I have running both a spider farmer SF-4000 and a SF-2000. Is this overkill could I move the sf-2000 to another tent and still get a reasonably similar yield.

I would keep the SF-2000 in there, It is a ample addition to your 5x5. Like homie kovidkough said. the more the merrier.

What exactly do you want to do with the sf-2000 that you are considering moving it out of the 5x5?

What other tents do u have and whats you whole setup like?

The sf4000 hardly covers a 4x4 so I would keep the 2000 in there.
I got (2) sf2000 to break it up a bit more in my 4x4. I found that this setup wasn't really enough. Ended up putting (1) sf2000 and (3) marshydro sp150 in there and I'm much happier.

As to the op, absolutely keep the sf2000 in there. I just keep the lights up and extra inch or two..

change up, still wanting more light, now running (3) sp150, (1) sf2000, and now one (1) sf1000. 705 watts for 16 sq seems to be my magic number. I've watched the thickening of my buds increase at a much quicker rate. unless your going above with temps or light bleaching the top leaves, more power is always best.
